@Kira Williams Feel free to visit my butterfly animation studio page "Red-Studios". The only thing I have to prove it with is I have an a new animation with the character in my pfp, cheers
Chase CZ you are limited to 100 drawings which is not much but that is all the full-color uncompressed images the memory can hold. However the timeline does not have a frame limit and by cleverly re-using drawings with keyframes you can make animations several minutes long. See some of the video tutorials for examples.
I'm sorry, which is yours? I had a lot more in there but I showed this at a talk last week and I had to shorten the time ... these aren't the only good ones by any means.
Yep I did have that one in there until the last round of edits when I had to chop another minute or so out. You should add some sound and maybe some color to that one, it is nice!
Hey, Bob is it still possible to do pixel art in this version? I bought this assuming there would be a pencil tool or something. Like the original version.
Hey Sora, it's designed less for pixel art than Inchworm, I guess you would say. But there's not a whole lot of difference really. If you zoom in far enough you will see the individual pixels with grid lines, and if you set the brush width to 1 or lower it functions like a pencil.
+Bob S Thanks for the quick reply, I have tried messing around with size, growth, fuzz etc, I can kind of get it to draw pixel by pixel but it keeps on 'skipping' pixels.
I take it back that there's little difference, actually. The way the two programs operate is in fact very different, and I must admit I didn't spend a whole lot of time testing pixel art. However, try setting the size to 0.5 and the fuzz to 0, growth NONE. That seems to do pretty well for me. But there may be other programs better for doing pixel art on the 3DS. What do you mean by "skipping", though?
For example if I try to draw one single straight line , it will be cut up into several lines. Thats what I meant by skipping pixels. ___ ___ __ _ I did what you said. The problem is I cant turn fuzz to 0 0.10 is the lowest.
5:00 is unbelievable!
I miss this A LOT. Lost my 3DS with everything on it...
sad, but you can still use the website, and the servers are still alive
Oh hey that's mine at 1:05

Question how to get the app on 3ds?
You get it through the eShop. Should be in the Applications section.
Bob S ok how meny does the app. Cost
@@patrickstaruttp9279 $8 I think
Bob S ok
I know this is old now but I'm wondering if u can upload animation like flipnote hatena
People have done it - you basically have to record it off a screen from the 3DS camera. Those usually don't get featured though on the main page.

I'm just going to stick with the original Inchworm for my pixel art. Thanks for the help bro.
