As you can see, some did much better than others! When we look at beam patterns for 7-inch round headlights, we look for a straight cut-off line, width left to right, height under the cut-off, and a strong hotspot positioned at or directly below the center of the cut-off line. Any light above the cut-off line is a potential glare in the eyes of oncoming drivers.

We Do Lighting Better Because We Test!
Huge thank you for taking the time to put this video together, I never realized how important the beam pattern is when making a selection on headlights.
No problem at all Andy! Glad we could help you out!
My favorites:
JL factory LED: 1:50 , Jeep wrangler OEM: 16:55
Morimoto Super 7: 4:00 , JW Speaker 8700: 9:00 , Morimoto Sealed 7: 12:50 , KC Hilites Gravity Pro6: 14:50 , Vision X Vortex (VX Series): 22:45
Thank you for the bookmarks. Those were my favorites as well and it made it much easier to go back and look at them while googling prices.
I like the Anzo 881036 or United Pacific 31289 (20:04)
I don't even have a use for 7" round lights, but this was a great video to watch!
Well, in conjunction with other reviews, you can get an idea of whether or not the company actually puts in the time, effort, and money to make a decent headlight, vs one that doesn't. Which can be helpful when you are looking to buy a headlight that isn't reviewed.
Foreal I want to put them on my go kart now just because they look so cool
People appreciate honesty more than biased opinions.
Absolutely agree! Honesty is key when it comes to reviews and opinions. It's important to share both the pros and cons so people can make informed decisions. Thanks for your feedback!
good comparison. just wish you added prices. some of these are quite expensive. also to see the light pattern on a road or trail would be cool
I have serviced five of my vehicles with new lights from Headlight Revolution. And the only thing better than the products is the CUSTOMER SERVICE. Reviews like this are above and beyond sales, as always thank you HR !!!!!!!
Thanks for the love Billy!
I feel like one out of ten people care about the beam pattern, everyone else cares about just being bright
That's because most people have no idea that the concept of a beam pattern exists or why you would need such a thing - they just go "wow" when you direct a searchlight up the road and complain like hell when one comes down the road towards them.
9/10 people also blueish light just because they perceive it to be brighter even though a more natural hue is more practical and usable by the human eye.
@@Code325 Now, that is simply not true.
Short explanation: The rod cells in our eyes also have a peak sensitivity and that lies around 500nm (498nm to be exact), which is around the greenish cyan level in the spectrum. Read further here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_cell
In artificial lighting terms, we work with color temperatures, and for color temperatures we're looking for the temperature at which most of the energy used to create light is transferred into light in the range that's most beneficial. Go higher (10k+, into the blue range) and a lot of energy is used to create light in the part of the spectrum that lies above the rod cell sensitivity peak, and go below and too much energy is used to create light in the part of the spectrum that lies below it. The sweet spot for color temperature to trigger the rod cells is actually between 6000K and 8500K, which is 'cold white' to 'bluish white', as you may remember from the first HID headlights.
Light produced by Sodium streetlights is almost exclusively light with a 600nm wavelength, which is only about 15-20% efficient for our rod cells. So you'd need a sodium light that's 5x as powerful to produce the same amount of nighttime visibility as a cold white LED would have to produce. The brightest halogens produce light of 3200K, and while that's noticeably better than sodium light, still about 70% of the energy is wasted in infrared light (so doesn't even account towards the amount of visible light altogether) and in the visible light spectrum it also peaks around 600nm (although halogen does produce some light with narrower wavelengths, so that allows for a higher color temperature and better visibility).
This video goes into great detail how our eyes work and what light temperature does for visibility with artificial light at night time: ruclips.net/video/wIC-iGDTU40/видео.html
White light is actually better for nighttime vision, simply because more energy used by the headlights is put into creating light in a wavelength that works best for our rod cells that do most of the work at limited light situations. Lower light temperatures, such as incandescents, halogens and sodium lights, are massively inefficient because the wavelength of light they produce is not the wavelength that's best received by our eyes. Additionally, a more white light works very well psychologically because the cooler hue keeps us awake better, again being a positive influence towards road safety.
EDIT: Additionally, that's also an argument why the measurement in Lux is not all that accurate in objectifying 'brightness'. At nighttime, 1000 lux of 2200K light is as efficient as 200 lux at 6000K is. So even though in this video you can see the stock Jeep halogen headlights outputting 830 lux at low beams and the KC Highlights output 660 lux at low beams max, the latter still looks massively more bright simply because the hue of the light is more efficient for our eyes. So when looking for lights, don't just look for the lux, but take the hue into consideration as well.
@@JoppedeZeeuw
You could have just said that human eyes function best at about 6000k. That being a good average light from the sun between clear and overcast days.
Its RUclips comments. Most people aren't even aware that light is just electromagnetic radiation, let alone created from ionized gas. Spectroscopy is also something that eludes most.
I do agree with you on everything though, including lux as a form of measurement. A laser pointer can have far higher lux than any headlight, but it would be unusable. Like my retina burning surplus aircraft search light. Something crazy like 200 amp draw and like 8,000 lux on an area the size of a car from well over a mile away.
Edit, it's actually 100 amp at 28vdc. Still, 2800 watts of xenon light is nothing you want to look at.
Yeah, I noticed more and more each day the amount of LED lights on the road that just blind everyone. These are terrible lights. I love this review series and I think I might take one of their recommendations. I wish the police etc would crack down on these people who have terrible lights because it has caused accidents from blinding other drivers.
Still thankful I found this just before purchasing my wife a 2017 Wrangler with Halogen headlights in December 2019. We chose the JWSpeaker LED headlights and complimented them with the matching driving lights and the JWSpeaker LED tail/brake lights. AMAZING difference at night. Took a little time to get the aiming down right after installation to keep from being "flashed" by oncoming drivers as they produce so much light.
Thank you again!
So glad that this video helped you out, and that you are liking those lights! If you need anything else in the meantime, let us know! Have a great rest of your day!
The H4 conversion lenses made by Hella are a phenomenal upgrade for old vehicles that used sealed beam lamps.
Honestly, find a JK owner that's replaced their stock lights and get those from them for cheap. The stock JK housings with silver star bulbs are still worlds better than a sealed beam. You just need an h4 to h13 adapter to plug them in, had for cheap on eBay.
Agreed 100%
Yep, had a set on my na miata with 55/100w bulbs - very bright
Couldn’t possibly be any happier with my KC Highlights 7" LED reflectors on my JK. Outstanding product and quality as well as the backing from the company. The light spread and control from them is near perfection. Low beam can be adjusted with precision as to not disturb oncoming vehicles. High beams out perform my pillar mounted off road floods.
Thrill3d with KC product and quality.
Fellow Jeep and truck owners ... please invest the three dollars in a T3 or T6 and adjust your headlights ... it’s just low class to lift or load your vehicles and not adjust your headlights. Be responsible ... and fog lights are meant for fog. No one is passing you thinking how amazing it was to be blinded by your many non DOT lights.
Kilo Lima Agreed. I have them on my LJ and have been very happy with them
single beam pattern is great but would be cool to see light output with 2 headlight light in a real car situation or maybe even some driving light output so we can see patterns on a real road.
I spoke to you at length a few years back about 7" Round headlights for my 1966 F250 EcoBoost Swap Truck. With all the pro's & con's of each you suggested the Anzo version. I bought them and they were so fantastic I bought 2 more pair for other '66 Trucks. I used to limit my night time driving but now it has become much more enjoyable to drive at night. Until someone comes out with a better light for the $$ I will continue to buy the Anzo. My latest '66 F100 Project also got them. (Orange/White 482" FE)
I should add: Prior to talking to you I bought a pair from a Mustang place. They seemed bright but the pattern was so bad they were simply not usable. Did not shoot them but they went into the round file where they belonged. I learned a lot after speaking with you and also watching these reviews.
You gotta stick with what works for you! Glad you were able to learn a lot from us!
The stock Jeep JL LED headlights are really impressive!
We agree! For an OEM LED, they really are nice.
Thor Bostrom Agreed. Wish they were backwards compatible for us JK guys.
Watched the video and decided on the JW Speaker 8700. What a difference on my 2013 JKU. Thanks for reviewing and spend the extra money and get a good product. Found them on amazon for 427.00.
Great video. You’re actually spot on with the “spider” style headlights. I owned IllumiNATION LEDs before the Chinese seller takeover on eBay and Amazon. I’ll take the blame for turning those flood lights into headlights because I advertised and presold hundreds of them before actually getting them in hand. All that only to find out the bracket on the back of the housing wouldn’t fit a JK. I had to cut the aluminum mount bracket off of every single pair so I could fulfill orders. My manufacturers quickly changed the design and they flooded the market with them. Fun times. In my defense it was a time in the LED world when cool and new stuff was necessary to stay relevant and make sales. These headlights outsold any lights I’ve ever sold.
Morimoto light pattern looked the best to me.
Morimoto has a great low beam pattern in these headlights!
Wow, even the "good" name brand LED beam patterns suck.
If you want GREAT PRODUCTS and OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE Headlight Revolution is AWESOME!!! I love this company!
Thank you Jim! We love you back. We appreciate your support.
Great video. I wish it was required viewing before people are allowed to shop for new lights for their Jeep.
lol
Exactly I usually base my purchases based on reviews not a few but 100's. I do the same with any purchase over $20. If necessary.
This is one of the BEST LED HEADLIGHT REVIEWS EVER! Straight, no BS. Great test.
FYI Anything with a beam pattern that is too far from stock is illegal here in Switzerland.
Thank you for your support, I’m glad this video was helpful!
I would like to see a similar comparison, but aimed at motorcycles. There are motorcycle issues not addressed (running high beams during the day for higher visibility, but w/o blinding oncoming traffic) or different (can't necessarily run fog lights to make up for low beam near field dimness). Overall, though a very informative video.
Hey Philip, thank you for watching! Hopefully we can make one of those videos in the near future.
I’ve actually been looking for new 7” headlights for my M939 military truck. Considering how high off the ground my headlight mounts are I definitely need to get something with a smooth gradient for low beams so that I can still see the ground right in front of the truck. I love that you have taken the time to check all the patterns and brightness as well as colors in these 7” headlights. One last problem for me to deal with is finding one that I can feed 24V to it, otherwise I’ll have to setup custom wiring just for the headlights.
I'd like to see a 5 3/4" round motorcycle headlight shoot out
luckily i found this headlight review before i made a purchase.. trying to find good headlights replacement. thank you
No problem 👍
The JW Speaker 8700 Evo 2 is a great headlight. I love it! EXCEPT!... it is designed to be used in a pair. The bottom vertical bars make city riding slightly uncomfortable when used as a solo headlight on a motorcycle. I LOVE the headlight. Just not for my motorcycle. Two headlights, they overlap each other so the dark spots go away.
Morimoto Sealed 7 seems like the perfect middle ground. Doesn't look hideous like the Super 7 and its price falls right in between the super expensive units and the cheapos. The pattern looks perfect.
I'm glad this was helpful!
You might need to do a 4x6 rectangle comparison as I run the old school style with 9007 Halogen and a 9007 LED highbeam on a 4 lamp Peterbilt
And a 5x7 for the single headlight trucks
I been shopping out some 5x7 for my Chevy van recently. Glad I’ve been reading reviews before just buying some cheap led spider eye blubs
I've thought about trying the composite housings or trying LEDs on the FLDs, but I've found with proper adjustment, halogen sealed beams are more than I need.
But I'm also running the factory green dash lights (green helps night vision, UP painted their steam locomotive cabins green to help night vision) and have always had good night vision. I can drive under a full moon with no lights.
But I'm on board with the 4x6 reviews.
In many developing countries, people are not rich enough to buy US's products.
Chinese helps poor people feel like rich people, at least from headlamp.
And not all consumers need a bulletproff headlight.
But many thanks for your team to show us how to compare them.
Thanks for watching!
Would love too see a similar shoot out for the 5 inch lights found in older sedans and muscle cars.
Thanks, that's just the review I needed for my 73 F250. Looking forward to installing the new beams.
No problem 👍
It’s the truth. You see cars every day with super bright beams that blind oncoming drivers and give them very little usable light.
Thank you guys for doing this, this video is exactly what I needed to see before getting a set for my TJ
Happy we could help!
Thanks for the in-depth look. I'll use this guide for replacing the weak stock headlight on my Triumph Bonneville.
Glad you liked the video, and that it pointed you in the right direction! Let us know when you are ready to get that going, and we will be happy to help you place that order!👍
@@HeadlightRevolution Yes indeed! I just ordered the chrome UP 31391. It was hard to resist the deep dark look of some of the others but for this bike the slightly more classic look works best. Next I'll look into some headlight relay kits.
Totally man! And I know what you are saying about those classic bikes needing classic looking lights! Shoot us an email when you are ready for that relay kit! Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com
Thank you for this video.
I honestly had no idea that there were so many variations on headlights.
This is information on an epic scale.
That was one amazing review, I just learned more about headlights in this video than I have in all of my research.
Very well done !!!!
Glad it was helpful!
Best 7" test ever! I ended up buying the JW Speaker in chrome.
Can’t beat good old factory setup. You get what you pay for.
You can definately beat that factory setup by a lot,and you are correct, you do definately get what you paid for! I would recommend going with some of the JW Speaker housings, or the Morimoto M-LED Super7 projector headlights! They are going to be some of the brightest usable options for your vehicle! I have linked those below, let us know if you have any other questions, we are here to help!
Link: www.headlightrevolution.com/complete_housings/universal_sealed_beam/custitem_category_facet/7%22-Round?order=commercecategory:asc
I bought some on ebay 7 years ago. Still going strong. 30$
If they work for you, great! Can't go wrong there!
This was a good comparison. My one criticism is the use “Lux” as a rating without an detailed presentation of what that actually represents and how you arrived at those ratings.
can you make a comparaison for 5.75 inch headlights ?
well that was the best review of products I've seen.. saved me a lot of money buying junk. LOL bet headlight manufactures were not expecting that...
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
Glad I found this review. Was about to buy a cheap 7" for my XS650, that would have been a mistake. Snagged a closeout Sealed7 1.0 for not much more than the lousy beam pattern cheap garbage.
Awesome! Glad this helped!
Michael Prewett i ordered the same ones through The Retrofit Source. But the knockoff gravity pros look pretty good too shit😂👍
How do the 1.0's compare?
@@Pimptorious69 It was on backorder and just showed up a couple of days ago. I haven't finished the install as I have to mod (dremel cut) the trim ring that slides over the rear of the light and I haven't finished yet.
@@TooBrokeToWheel Ok, keep us posted if you dont mind. I might grab a set.
Regarding your comments on the KC Highlites: You don’t need light 4 feet in front of your car, you certainly don’t need fog lights on clear nights. Keep in mind: fog lights are aimed upwards, they’re separate from low beams because they’re only to be turned on in thick fog.
The generic Chinese copy, it almost looks like there was a bit of sprue left over on the lens or shutter.
Modern fog lights really help with width and foreground light, not just when it's foggy!
This was Epic! Thank you!
Looking forward to a 5"x7" Headlight shootout.
Thanks again.
I think the hot ticket is the ANZO 881036. Looks the best. Just don't care for the "bug/spider eye" look of the 1st batch.
It's a great light!
That was one mega comparison. Great!
For the Vortex from vision X you have a cable that allows you to have the low beam and high beam together that makes it really excellent.
Nice!
Honestly half of the ones you hated weren't very bad compared to the ones you seem infatuated with. Now consider the fact they're more than 5x less expensive than some of those others you like so much and it's pretty clear they're really not bad at all... Hell, if I made a side by side comparison without the brand names I doubt most people with favoritism and biases(regardless if they'd like to admit it or not) could tell which one is actually better.
Really? Which half? Blinding people coming head on at you, when you're on your motorcycle is a flat out NO to the rest of us.
I totally agree
I had the first gen JW Speakers on my JKUR when they first came out and there was a delay from high beam to low.
You'd flick your highs up and it takes a full second or two before reverting to the normal driving pattern. They fixed it about a week or two after launch and the shop I bought them from had it covered. Excellent upgrade IMO from stock.
I can't tell from the other models in this review whether there is a headlight better than the original 8700 model gen 1.2(?) or not. When I need more light, I put my wide angle fogs (Baja design) on and see everything side to side. I love my setup. light bar at the bull bar for throwing light much further down the road when needed. 👌
Absolutely amazing in depth review. Thank you for being so thorough.
Very entertaining video... I have a 1970 monte carlo, which headlights would work for my classic car.
Holley Retrobrights!
Ah no Pro Comps! I think they might be my personal favorite but bottom line as long as you're buying quality NAME brand lights you won't be sad.
Great review for people that sit in their cars in the garage. Maybe build a frame that hold the lights at the correct distance and height and go out and find a quiet road and show what they look like if you leave your garage.
Unfortunately that's not as viable as our current method, but that would make an interesting video to do at least a few times!
Morimoto was by far the best. Surprised to see how bad most of these, including the name brands, performed.
Morimoto is a solid brand! One of our favorites for sure.
Excellent and objective comparison. Some of the worst led after market lights I’ve been glared by (like this morning) are rounds on a Jeep
Some of the Chinese knock off are actually better shining than the branded lights...
But nobody likes likes issues they have like water vapor inside, beam pattern(camera doesn't show accurate), lens yellowing/cracking, falling apart, and early death. Not good for everyday driving.
Where can i find those gravity pro knockoffs? Those looked good for real
@@bigshnitzeljesse that's why your better off with stock, and not trying to be cool like the next guy.
HR is turning into a nice ASMR channel for me 🌘✨His explanations are super calming 😤👍🏼
Those bed time videos huh?😝😂
Thanks for being so informative. Getting my Starr HID's thru you guys was the best lighting choice I have ever made!
I would like to see the Morimoto Super 7 in a VW Golf MK2, now THAT could be awesome 😎👌
That would be awesome, you should be the first to do that!🙌
Been waiting for this video for so long!! I bought the Trucklite 27270c's, but when the time comes for new headlights I think I'll be going with the Morimoto projector style headlights.
I think this one had the better area lighting !
Absolutely fantastic video. Just got a JLU, stock halogens weren’t much better than those on my JKU. Decided on the Mopar since dealer agreed to include at cost. This validated my decision and nice to see what the other options would’ve looked like. Thanks!
Happy to help! If you have any questions on anything just ask.
God, guns and automobiles. The best combo! Great comparo.
well, except for the 'god' part, but to each their own and we'll agree to see the world differently. I'll take "Torque and Recoil" Some of these lights are bright enough to recoil...
This makes me glad (still) that I have the JW Speaker 8700 J2 series! Thanks for doing this guys!!!
Love the JWs!
Thanks for this review. What is the brand of the Generic “KC HiLites Gravity Pro”:
490 Max Lux on Low Beam
1410 Max Lux on High Beam?
Thanks.
Just saw this video and was interested in that one too. I ended up finding the company in china that makes them through Ali-Baba. I messaged them saying I was interested and they told me they have stopped production on those. The exact name of them were "High Power Willys Led Offroad Headlight Super Bright Led 7 Inch Round Headlight" sold and made by Nanjing Jiuguang Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. which is basically a factory in China from the looks of it.
Great Demo! (Pun intended). All kidding aside, your research and experimentation was "enlightening!" (Oooops, another Pun...sorry.) Thanks for your "Brilliant" effort! Your demos made a difference; I now know which light to buy. Thanks so much!
Love the puns!!
Thanks for watching, and I'm glad to hear that this video helped you out!
Will you do a video of square headlights? If so I will sub👍
I am very happy that you reviewed the 7 inch headlamps as I am going to be looking at converting my 78 Suburban to led lights and want the best lights for it. I am currently running Hella Quarts lights and have had good results with them, but will need better results when I start driving with my wife who has never driven a vehicle like the Suburban. I will also be looking at these when I get back to the states and wonder where you are located as I have little or no tools anymore since my ex-son-in-law stole them to pay for his drinking habit.
Have you ever reviewed the Quadratec’s Gen II Stealth LED headlights?
I honestly think the JL beam pattern looks the best... but I'm guessing you can't use the new JL headlights in old 7" applications?
Unfortunately the JL headlights will not fit in a JK as they're larger diameter
@@HeadlightRevolution Darn. Really glad you've got the information to share though!
Awesome comp video. But I noticed you guys didn't shoot any of the American brands, and some of those beam patterns were atrocious, i.e.: Putco, KC, etc.
Putco was hilarious. Actually, I think it would be a good work light.
Great video I thought it was just me not happy with my head lights I wish I had the money to buy some you talked about
Check out the Holley RetroBrights! Amazing lights at a great price!
Awesome vid guys!!! Shoot that Chinese knock-off crap brah 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Tough to beat the old cibie headlights with 85/100 bulbs. Pattern incredibly crisp, great range, cutoff on low amazing.
And now it's tough to find Cibies :(
Enjoyed your vid. Unless you're pimping a sponsor brand (I doubt you are) you should include price. I doubt many viewers will pay $600 for a headlight.
Great recommendation! We will keep that in mind for future videos!
Not only useful, but also fun to watch. Thanks for the videos!
God bless America! God bless 2nd amendment!!
You know it!
I Really Enjoyed this... Very informative. (I sometimes did not quite understand why you shot up some of them, that seemed to give a good light pattern.) ... Which brings me to a comment >>> Something OI think would be a GREAT additional bit of information, and understanding for the viewer, would be to have a "Parking Lot Demo"... a large space where you could do an overhead view of the light coverage pattern. Or at least, a "driver's viewpoint"... The parking grids would give a good 'reference' of distance and spread. Maybe even have some objects at the same specific locations -- a 'dog' about to cross the road, a child a few yards off the edge of the 'road', a couple of 'mailboxes' or trees and bushes, etc -- that would show how well the test light actually "Lights Up" objects ahead. "The Wall" and the 25' readings tell us a Lot. But seeing how that 'translates' to Real World Experience can be very useful...
Thank you for the feedback.
Great video for whoever needs it. However, you can tell you're completely bias towards certain brands even though the light output is garbage.
I used to work for ijdmtoy and they sell tons of these spider crap headlights. $300+ per set and tons of issues. I am happy that you are using ‘em shotgun to disposed them lol
🤣
Love it......lol bang bang
This is terrific information. Thanks very much.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Darn Saigas.
Excellent review video. Thank you for taking the time to make such a thorough and informative video 10/10
Glad you enjoyed it!
I spent over $600us/ two sets of Trucklite 27270c's headlight on my JEEPS. I have no complaints about this super bright item; however, I found out the quality of the lenses which is easy to scratch after two weeks. What is after the Trucklight band? They are all copy design of America bands, they all look like the same pattern and their design is super close than those early items from China. What a shame you are talking about? I hope they aren't copying from Trucklight. I don't care about the item which is made in America or not. I do not trust the other copy design item. I buy good design and quality item. Your video is very funny.
Thanks for the comment! We are glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks for the pointer on the Trucklite!
@@HeadlightRevolution Also, I don't like your gunshot reaction, I have no idea what the hell you guys like to show off something with a gun all the time. WTF!
knobknob Biwah:
Have you ever heard of freedom of speech? If you don’t like the gunshot reaction, don’t watch it! There are billions of other videos you can watch!
It’s a “shootout” between headlights...if you are in a shootout, the loser gets shot...hence the FUN shooting of the losing lights! Lighten up!! (Pun intended! Lol!)
This was very awesome, nice work!
Thank you! 🙏
0:28, thought I had PornHub open.
We are all thinking about "THAT" ad aren't we
Ryan2588 most of men who love guns and shooting have small dicks, it’s proven true!!!
@@velocity800 Sounds like you are one of those liberal dick size experts.
Thanks very much. This was the most informative product comparison video I have ever seen. The assessments were very technical and precise allowing the viewer to understand each technology and its pros and cons. The video was also professionally produced. You guys are really great!
Thank you for watching and your feedback!
JW Speaker all the way. I got some and are awesome
Nice!
Oh we are just leaving out the OEM 2017 Wrangler led headlights here? Would love to have seen your comparison on those too
We'll get that headlight on the next one!
Need this for the 4x6 rectangle lights.
I like those vision x.
I also run my left headlight down and in just a touch to help oncoming traffic, I doubt I'd need fog lights.
Out of all the LED headlight options that we carry in that size, JW Speaker has been aroud the longest and has been a tried and true product! I would highly recommend those housings to you, and I have linked those housings for you below!
Great video i have been looking at getting new headlights but had no idea which ones were turds or not.
Thanks for watching!
great video. Probably saved me a lot of money
Glad we could help!
@@lexusflip5096 I havent made up my mind yet but I know which ones I will not buy. I have a 2018 JKU sport S
I really like the Morimoto Super 7! How does the light color perform? I like it to be as white as possible, no blue, or beige color temp.
They are a nice 5000k pure white!
Wish I watched this before I bought cheapies for my Montero... which didn't work. I've got more expensive ones in an old Benz and they work great.
I was looking for MC light information. But you guys did an excellent job on this video. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the kind words, and I am glad that you enjoyed the video! If you need any help, shoot us an email and we will get you taken care of! Sales@HeadlightRevolution.com
Looking for a good led headlight like you showed, but wanted the amber halo with them, any recommendations?
Hey Don, check these out! There is an amber option in the dropdown menu!

Good reviews, thanks. Would be good to have some price banding. IMHO shooting all the dud lights at the end would be more spectacular...and not so ( sorry) boring to watch.
Keep up the good work. Ps motorcycle led light tests would be good ( Ihave the Trucklite on my bike).
Headlight go boom.
Fantastically made video! Thank you guys for spending the time and a lot of money to show the differences between these lights. Before watching I really didn't think it mattered which one I bought, but this video proved me wrong!
Hello, which one do you recommend for my 2005 jeep liberty for night road trips, I need the most powerful ones, with high depth and in low and wide az of strong light

best headlight video ever!
Thanks for watching!
The Putco Luminix illuminated the entire back wall on both low and high beam settings, so my question is why did you not comment on them as a great choice. I asume the smile on your face and the fact that you did'nt shoot it is an indication that it is usable. A response would be greatly appriciated.
That is exactly why we didn't mention it, as it lights up the entire wall! That beam pattern is so un-safe for driving as it will always be in the eyes of oncoming traffic, even on the low beam! The other issue with those is that since the light is so dispersed, you'll not have as much viewing distance(throw) as almost any other option! They would be great if that was a light bar or spotlight, but totally un-usable in an actual headlight application.
