Giving hot packs, learning sign language and even exchanging cheesy comments, those are things I haven't seen with other groups and their followers... Every day I'm learning a new reason reason why this fandom is one of the best.

I'm curious why a music group would have deaf fans.
Hearing and deafness isn't necessarily a binary thing, where either you can hear or you can't. A lot of folks that are hard-of-hearing aren't totally deaf, or struggle with some sounds and not others, etc. For example, in usual social situations they may have trouble, but at home they can turn the volume up way louder to be able to hear. Also, keep in mind that there is the whole dance and visual performance aspect, which can be very much enjoyed even if you can't hear the music at all. Mamamoo has been super conscious of their hard-of-hearing fans for a long time now. It's why the moobong can vibrate (to help indicate to both hard-of-hearing and visually impaired fans when to cheer etc), and the WHOLE reason VLive allows for subtitles is because of them. A fan said they couldn't hear their VLives and so they talked to the platform about adding/allowing subs.
Because they can still fell the vibration of the music and that how they listen. That's why Moobong have a vibration function.
