Thank you so much for this! I cannot describe the turning point i had today listening to this. I was just talking to a friend yesterday about exploring God more. We both have questions and doubts but are in a place of growth. Your video not only came up at exactly the right time for me, but also covered my biggest beef with the bible- Abraham being asked to sacrifice his son. What you said gave me such a profound new understanding I cried and laughed. Such an overwhelming feeling of joy! God has been with me all along- I just didn't understand what that really meant until today.
    I am truly grateful 🙏

The reduction to sackcloth and sitting in the dust reminds me of that life changing moment when the Elder women invited me to join them and I left a gap between myself and the women that had beckoned me to join them. They all looked at the gap, she moved her body to close my gap and all their laughter rang out like temple bells. I felt AS IF I belonged.

This was very timely! I'm currently reading Jeremiah to my two oldest boys (the third one is still only a toddler!), and I found it very fascinating reading that passage a few nights ago, how God said "the thought of child sacrifice never even crossed my mind!" And I too, then immediately thought of Abraham and Isaac, thinking: 'but God instructed Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, as a 'test'?' I've always found that confusing. As God does not believe in killing innocent persons. And He makes that extremely clear in the books of Isaiah and Jeremiah. I think it's close to the end of Isaiah, where God says that He could not care less if the people of Judah had holy days for the Lord, fasting and praying, whilst there were lies being told, innocents were in jail, the poor were not looked after, and immediately after the fasting ended the people would go back to having fisticuffs! I've always struggled with the Cain vs Abel sacrifices, how God accepted Abel's animal sacrifice, but not Cain's vegetable sacrifice. The Bible says they both offered the first fruits. But then, in the light of the passage of Isaiah above, it's clear that God would have been happy with Cain's sacrifice, of his first allotment of fruit and veges, but because there was something going on deeper inside Cain, that is why God was unhappy with Cain: because Cain was using the sacrifice as an 'out card' for things he actually wasn't doing right.

Thank you so much for your comment and you are right , God does not expect a blood sacrifice. I’m so glad that you were able to work this out and have it confirmed in what I shared, especially that you are teaching your son’s. How God must rejoice in knowing that your children will grow to know who He truly is. I do plan to cover Cain and Able, as I had the same questions you do and I now know the answers. I am looking forward to sharing it.. My next interview is going to cover what happened in Heaven, and how and why sacrifices made it into our world. Then the next interview will cover Adam and Eve, plus Cain and Abel.. I hope you can join us as we discuss what happened and break it down to expose the devils lies to man.

By digging deeper into the scripture, beyond the surface, our Creator's true character of unconditional Love can be proved.
The seeming contradictions and inconsistencies are due to God taking the blame for all the evil the enemy is causing and also due to the Bible not being channeled or dictated to the writers of the Bible but inspired by the Ruach Ha Kodesh.
There is a great difference between channeling and inspired writing.
The difference is that our Creator, unlike the imposter god of this world, Satan, respects our free will and does not attempt to control our minds and writings.
God is such a respecter of persons and has such high regard for our free will that He let the writers of the Bible write their own misinterpretations of events and even misconceptions of His character, and met them where they were, at their level of understanding of His character, in the time and culture they lived.
That is the main reason the patriarchs, prophets, and kings wrote that God is jealous, angry, or vengeful!
It was because the patriarchs, prophets, and kings saw God's character from their own limited human perspective, influenced by the cultural mindset they were immersed in.
For example, the prophet Elijah believed that God kills and destroys because he lived in a time when people believed Satan's lie that our Creator kills and destroys, so he commanded fire from heaven to consume living beings.
“And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. 2 Kings 1:10
This was the main reason our beautiful Savior Yeshua had to come into this world, to reveal the Father's true character of Love and non-violence!
"And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?"
"But he turned and rebuked them, and said, Ye, know not what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.”
    Luke 9: 54-56
The spirit of commanding fire to come down is not the spirit of our God but the spirit of the destroyer, Satan.
It was the spirit of Satan that enabled Elijah to call down fire from heaven, not God.
The fire that comes from God represents the Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh, it is not literal and never destroys but only purifies and sanctifies.
Examples are the Burning Bush which burned but was not consumed, and the tongues of Fire on the Day of Pentecost.
Why did Elijah become afraid of Jezabel after his great victory of bringing down fire and killing the prophets of Baal on Mount Caramel?
Because deep inside Elijah felt that his conscience was rebuking him.
Elijah finally came close to God and learned His true character of Love and non-violence on Mount Sinai.
After all the fireworks that Satan brought to frighten Elijah were passed, there was a “still small voice.”
    1 Kings 19:11-13
The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.”
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind.
After the wind, there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake.
After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave."
God was not in the earthquake, not in the storm, not in the fire but in the still and small voice!

Thanks for this! That makes sense re Elijah. He had people killed a few times, for what seemed, rather unnecessary reasons. But like Moses and the striking of the rock, there were 'miracles' that occurred, yet through a divine power opposing God. Interesting! At church on Sunday, we were talking about, and trying to put into practice re, hearing from God. Which is a good thing. But one thing that we do need to be aware of, and I believe is something the church doesn't accentuate much, if at all, is that it's entirely possible to be hearing a divine voice, that is actually not that of God. And it's easy to be deceived into thinking that that 'other voice' is actually God: it has to be, as many Christians believe they hear from God but the things that voice says, doesn't entirely match up with Scripture.

There would be no misunderstanding of God's true character of unconditional Love and would be no cognitive dissonance while reading and studying the Bible when we realize that Satan, the imposter god of this world, has impersonated our Creator since the beginning of time, and he still is to this today!
Satan has blinded the minds of unbelievers and gaslighted them to believe that our Creator is like him, angry, hypercritical, jealous, vengeful, and wrathful, even though the Bible clearly states that our beautiful Savior Yeshua is the exact likeness of our Creator, 2 Corinthians 4:4,
"The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
According to II Corinthians 11:14, Satan disguises himself as an angel of light and has impersonated our Creator both in the Old and New Testament,
" And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."
Lord and god are titles, not the names of the Creator, and have been used in the scripture both for the imposter Satan and for the true God, our Creator.
By assuming the title lord, and god, the devil was able to deceive Adam, Abraham, Moses, King David, and many other patriarchs, prophets, and kings all throughout the Bible.
In II Samuel 24:1-2 we read, “And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah."
Who was the Lord who enticed David to number Israel in II Samuel 24:1-2?
The answer is in 1 Chronicles 21:1-2, "SATAN rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel. "
It was the imposter lord, the devil, who enticed Israel to do his will: sacrifice animals, eat flesh, go to war, kill people, commit genocide, etc.

      @@firecarrier1 Hi firecarrier,
Is it this verse you are referring to?
      Isaiah 54:16
      King James Version (KJV)
16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy
We see in revelations Satan turns against and destroys his own. This verse in revelations develops and expands this. I’ve been finding to so often it’s not until we lay out all the scriptures on an area together that we have a fuller understanding
15 Then the angel said to me, "The waters you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations and languages. 16 The beast and the ten horns you saw will hate the prostitute. They will bring her to ruin and leave her naked; they will eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to hand over to the beast their royal authority, until God's words are fulfilled. 18 The woman you saw is the great city that rules over the kings of the earth." (Rev. 17:15- 18 NIV)
      - This is ultimately all a part of God’s purpose (v. 17), and it will be the way that the final, evil end- time world empire will be destroyed: it will be destroyed by its own rulers
