Wow looks totally different, your branch placement never fails to amaze me Ryan. Would be nice to see it again when it's sprouted new growth. Music spot on, tee shirt great 😂👍
Great video again Ryan, look forward to seeing this one again in full flush come spring time. Keep up the good work, i'm fairly new to Bonsai and looking to repot my larch just before bud burst in Spring 2025.
@houghtonbonsai I got something similar from a nursery called savin nurseries but mine is a larch forest and the same issue with the trees not being secure in the pot but nothing a little TLC can't fix
What’s the aftercare plan? I’ve always repotted Larch in Spring. Back budding is also hit and miss with Larch they don’t readily back bud in my experience 🤔
Ice job so far. I think I would cut it back and take off that big lump at the top and make the apex come off the branch that has some movement to it that comes off the outside thick part.
@@KennetDeBondt thanks Kennet m8, i have no problem working on Larch this time of year, this is the time of year when you buy them bare rooted from eBay lol
Big changes!!
Thanks Nigel Hopefully for the best lol ;)

Hi Keith, i will just put it in the greenhouse for a couple of weeks
It’s gonna be a nice tree in a few years, got to love Larch they are very forgiving with a bit of wire. 👏👍

Thanks, that's always an idea if this does not work, lol
