If you want to protect your domestic market then make your domestic market products as good as of overseas markets, don't let your citizens crave for getting these products, just put import duties on the products which are (or similar quality products) available in India as well, That's also the one of the reason people are immigrating to other countries

1 Basic customs duty:- 35% of assessable value
2 Social Welfare Srchrg:- 10% of the Basic customs duty
3 IGST:- 28% of the assessable value + Basic customs duty+ Social Welfare Surcharge

Things to remember for any international import:-
1. Alway make sure KYC Details are matched. Name on Aadhar card & receiver name should be same.
2. Basic Duty will he 35% instead of 10% if you are not using your OWN DEBIT card.
3. After all this Company to Individual will save money (Alway import on DDP mode, which means taxes already paid by shipper)

Return likhte toh hai ye log but 19-20 hai. Shipping import export ka jhanjhat hai. Order karo toh kaan k chalo ki return nahi hoga. 99% of time kuch defective nahi aayegi. 10 cheezein import ki hai maine aajtak but no issues

Its quite complex. You then need to fill.some.documents and then ship it back at your own cost etc. Not worth the hassle. Just pray you get a good one and if no just keep it away
