Quite a lengthy, wordless beginning. Silly, really, how cheating begets cheating for this side quest. Assuming save scumming/timelooping is a form of cheating, of course. Considering Schells never came back in some degree in the next two games, guess he never did put his talents to good use.
Heck, even the Salarian and Volus duo who were trying to scan the Keepers had a *minor* return in the second game. I think BioWare simply didn't see the need for Schells to show up in the second or third game. Would have been funny for him to show somewhere as having been arrested by C-Sec for developing the software.
The Council: "Shepard, you were right about the Reapers, we should have listened to you! What do we do?"
