When he does get it he is two far wide with two defenders on him. We need to have him cut in more. Ange’s system seems to be spreading wings out to create more space in the middle. When he makes a run or cuts across after passing, we miss him. Problem is that everyone knows and pack in the middle. Some of it is on him. He needs to be more selfish. He needs to demand the ball. Good lord we have Sarr and Udogi taking 40ft shots. He is under appreciated in that he is really good short space passers. We need to take advantage of that. Need to move Son Solanke in and out rather than just going to a spot waiting for the ball. Like any sports, when you are not getting the ball, players get deflated and loose energy. Also very little strategic in game adjustments based on the flow of the game.
I agree, the system is not helping. When so many players look poor or "finished", it's his job to get the best out of them. The players he has brought in, especially the forwards, don't fit what he wants them to do. They look worse than they actually are, look at Johnson through on goal today, that is never happening when 90% of the time, he is on the touchline and the opposition is sat back. Ange needs to create more scenarios where the forwards we have, actually thrive in. And prove he has spent the 350mil well.

I think he came into the league expecting to be undermined and was prepared for journalists to treat him condescendingly, so he's been in defense mode since he arrived. Conte had a problem facing media as well and complained about it several times. Some managers just hate dealing with that scrutiny and constant repeat questions. If the club actually had a PR/media person to keep supporters informed and deal with the more annoying questions, we'd see a very different Ange in those press conferences

His system always worked in transition, we always struggle against low blocks. Spense goal was against a low block but that required a really skilled/lucky pass from Kulu which won't happen ever game
Absolutely. There are countless players not playing in there strongest and most effective positions. 3-5-2 would be far more effective with the players we have. I dont think Ange is capable of changing the system though or is too stubborn unfortunately.

The way i saw it especially with the starting line up - it was a completely changed tottenham side. I didnt expect an easy game with all the changes. It needed some regulars to come on and thats what happened. Like what i saw of djed and i think he has matured up loads . If he eventually leaves spurs someone will get a great player. Pleased for johnson also . I think ange was lucky to get away with all the changes and romero and vdv will be better for being rested.

I think its the formation. armchair manager take but I use similar tacits in fifa but in a 4213 so theres more triangles and space in the midfield.the 433 we sit in is too linear and if people arent chasing us down and making openings in their defense, it's hard to create. but with a 4231 or 4213 you have a lot more ways to create attacking moves. same tactics, different formation i bet we see a world of difference
