I make the same style for pa800 and I'm happy to hear another Korg user boy that love Jarre. The only difference is that I put the Sweep FX on the tuch pad. Congratulation!
@psbmastering : Thanks for the comments! :) Someone gave me all the individual samples of the Korg Minipop, used by JMJ in 1976. I made a minipop drumkit in the PA2X (samples are in PA2X RAM). The "sound effect" is one of the minipop's samples. Something like an electronic quijada. Best

Hi from Spain, nice sound, i'm preparing some jarre's covers only with analog stuff , your cover is very good emulating old synths, the most important thing is to recreate the jarre's atmosphere and your cover is powerfull, GOOD WORK

I did a translate from French to English using google translate to translate about ELECTRO-HARMONIX Electric Mistress, that JMJ used in Oxygene 4 etc that was in French 😁 This is what the translate said : Comments: The Electric Mistress is a flanger effect pedal that JM Jarre particularly likes with the Small Stone. This pedal is widely used in Oxygene and is responsible, among other things, for the particular sound of the solo of Oxygene 4 and the unique atmosphere of the intro of Oxygene 5. When you pass a white noise in the Small Stone you get wind, with the Electric Mistress it's a fighter plane taking off :)
Hello, thanks for your comments. I'm french. 😉 JMJ uses The Small Stone with old batteries. He said that it produces a more interessant sound. I think Michel Geiss ended up making a special power supply. (JMJ's first albums would have been very different without Michel Geiss...) I maked the wind sound using a small amount of resonance on a white noise. The PA1X doesn't provide enough insert FX simultaneously to use a phaser on the white noise. I noticed 35 years ago that flanger on white noise produces jet plane sound. 😊 I used a flanger FX on the third theme, at 0,58". But to get the original sound I would have needed an RMI Harmonic Synthesizer...

@digitalmonkeynuts I disagree with your photoshop comparison : JMJ uses synthesizers to play Oxygene, and I played synthesizer to do this cover. I played all the parts, and made the sounds using soustractive synthesis. One difference : he used a preset drum pattern of the minipop, and I have made the pattern myself, because I have no minipop... The purpose was to show that this keyboard allows to play various musics freely, changing chords live as you want, what is not possible with sequencer.
