We're building out a bus to live in for the exact same reason you are: we don't want to be trapped by our things. Also, we want to live a meaningful life that's defined by our own goals and dreams rather than by the expectations of jobs, bills, and society. Your video really spoke to us.

What a great video man. I am 42 with n wife and no kids(nt that I havent tried I guess im only a catch and release) I own my home and will be selling it and plan on getting a M1079 military truck to live on the road. I have been alone most of my life and there are many places I want to see and you are right trauma changes you but that's life. Best of luck to you and your family on your journey.

Hello 👋 we also looked at the LMTV vehicles and seriously did the math on buying and converting one. They are awesome and if I was solo I would definitely go that route. I would do the eco hub conversion for sure. Really increases your mileage and top speed. I think you can run the stock differential ratio with the ecohubs and avoid the expense of swapping pumpkins out.
Thank you very much for watching and taking time to send us a your thoughts. We really appreciate it.

We live in a 30' skoolie for many of the same reasons you spoke of. It started as a way to have a personalized home we could travel in, and since has become our retirement home. Because of "The American Dream". It no longer exists for retirees. Fortunately for us, this is a chosen way of life. Even more fortunately, it's (almost) affordable on social security. Enjoy your new home!

As I get older I really understand why the "old folks" when I was a kid would talk about how things are not the same when they were kids. I feel that as Nation (culture) we are trending in a negative direction. Living in general is becoming more expensive while wages are not keeping up. Unbridled Greed on all sides seems to be the root of this. When is Enough profit ... enough? Thank you for watching and taking the time to share with us. We will adapt, overcome and be free.
