DC comics presents a new hero called Phantasmos the Living Fear. His name is Thomas Devlin the teenage great grandson of Erik Destler the Phantom of the Opera. He was a musical progeny and admired for his angelic voice. He wanted to perform the Phantom of the Opera in Blue Valley and so he did. It was where he met the love of his life Maria Jones she played the part of Christine Daae. They fell very deeply in love, there performance went worldwide but like everyone they had an enemy Cindy Brunman she hated his voice even insulted his girlfriend she even wanted to play Christine Daae so she can get close to Henry but they were disqualified for bad attitudes and her horrible temper. Also because Thomas's teacher was Cindy's mother. After she died Thomas vowed to do the performance in honor of her. Thomas and Maria went to Paris where his family bought the theater where the Phantom of the Opera originated also because they had a vast fortune in Broadway performances. On the night of the performance Cindy broke into the theater and cut off the chandelier which landed on both Thomas and Maria. The whole place went into flames and the two stars burned in the fire. The firefighters searched through the remains of the theater and they found both Thomas and Maria alive but badly burned. They were rushed to the Hospital in Paris, Thomas was in surgery. Soon after he was in a coma. 3 years past and Thomas woke up to discover his girlfriend Maria died from her injuries. He went to her grave back in Blue Valley, heartbroken by his loss. Something changed Thomas something snapped, living a heartbreaking life he created a costume like his great grandfather had but with illusion tech and a mirror like face. He became the avenger of darkness Phantasmos the Living Fear. For the last 2 years he's been using people's nightmares and bringing them to life where only they can see them. He then got even not with revenge but simply used his powers to drive people in madness whenever they see his face. He vowed to not rest until his girlfriend's murderer is brought to justice and vowed to end the heartbreak their families have endured. He doesn't kill he scares people. Most people claimed he is a ghost or a vengeful spirit that won't rest until his enemies are brought towards madness and brought to justice. He leaves a glass rose as his calling card. He has helped the JSA fight against their most dangerous enemies outside of the ISA.
I will admit, I’ve never seen this movie, but the trailer kind of scared the heck out of me. But looking at the different scenes and all it is amazing. I probably would’ve liked it.
Very good version of the Phantom of the Opera. A dark and mysterious movie. Good acting and Robert just brilliant.
