So glad! Yes, I need to remember to show the jar in a future video when it is finished. I just blended a jar of peppers that fermented for 6 months into a hot sauce… ferments are awesome!

Fido jars are the only ones I use for ferments. They are the best! I love them!

I've fermented cabbage with shredded carrots and other things. I made fermented garlic cloves last year and we are just finishing them off. I have never tried doing it with a clamp jar and I have all the different fermenting lids and pickle pebbles etc. I am definitely going to try a clamp jar sounds so much simpler. Thanks for sharing the info on when to harvest garlic. I think I have waited a little long last year so this years garlic is looking like it is ready to pull.

That is awesome! Fermented garlic is so good (as is cabbage)! Clamp jars will make it so easy to forget about your ferments, I hope you give it a try. Glad to help with garlic harvesting timing. I was just out looking at my soft neck garlic today and seems like they will be ready earlier than last year based on how fast their leaves are dying back! I also do a test harvest of a couple that look ready or hard neck that seem to be by timing before I pull a bunch. It also helps! Thanks for your comment!
