The episode with The Spot was the very first episode I ever saw of The Animated Series way back when, so to see him evolve into something out of cosmic horror towards the end of Spiderverse 2 was just such a treat

I never understood why he was always considered a "goofy" villain, his powers are amongst the most complex, unpredictable and most threatening out there, dude can literally teleport you into the vacuum of space if he wanted too, shoot a gun behing your head while behind cover, can put you into the bottom of Mariana's trench and so on.

If you know how to destroy a building by slamming the support beams that should put you on building level, since there's nothing stopping you from doing the same to other buildings. Same with destroying a Multiverse, if the Spot can use his power to destabilize a universe and make it collapse on itself, then there's nothing stopping him from doing it to one or more universes, making him a Multiversal level threat.

Came back from the movie yesterday with an early release. I was surprised to be able to sympathize with him, but they really pulled it off. And his theme song is so chilling. Makes my spine rattle.
