    It's the ownership that needs to change. I agree with Ian that he literally doesn't turn up to games and clearly doesn't care about the club. Kronke has to go!

    • @usr2842
      @usr2842 6 лет назад +19

      Hashem Al-Rikabi yes but Wenger is the main problem, he runs the football on the pitch and it is currently atrocious and has been for a few years. Against Liverpool he had 0 tactics, he put a £50mill striker on the bench and bellerin on the left?...No player has any pressure to perform and contend for the big trophies and that comes from Wenger. Kroenke doesn't help but not the main problem

    • @hreacts8722

      Chan Chan You're right. No manager would want to work with those owners who won't let them spend big. Wenger himself is probably against spending big ina window. Arsenal fans say United, Chelsea and City spend too much but they want to win trophies. Arsenal have plenty of money they say over 200m. Wenger spend like 40m+ once every season and doesn't buy the players which Arsenal badly need.

      Coming off of failure is a lot easier than coming off of success. Fans (myself included) would likely accept a new manager, any manager, with open arms, because it at least implies change. And if Arsenal fans have learnt anything, its probably patience (21 years), something required for a manager to produce change.

    • @jimibrando
      @jimibrando 6 лет назад +1

      I wanted Klopp cause I thought he'd be perfect at the time but I also believe everything happens for a reason. Diego Simeone would be great but I believe it'd be tough to lure him away from Spain. My pick would be David Wagner at Huddersfield town. Yes he's relatively inexperienced but he learned under Klopp and has very similar philosophies, however I think he may be a more clever tactican. In my opinion, he's a calmer, tactically smarter version of Klopp which I think suits Arsenal perfectly.

    • @lawrencekatlehomosielo5497
      @lawrencekatlehomosielo5497 6 лет назад +2

      I believe Simeone is getting set to leave Madrid, him managing Arsenal is not beyond the realms of possibility. Pellegrini and Mancini could also do a job at Arsenal. I fancy Laurent Blanc too!! At least 3 of the 4 managers I mentioned would be ready and willing to manage Arsenal.

    • @lawrencekatlehomosielo5497
      @lawrencekatlehomosielo5497 6 лет назад

      And this may sound absurd, but given an endorsment from Wenger himself, tons of managers would be willing to manage Arsenal.

      Kellys Heroes777 It's not about finding a top manager it's about finding a manager who can take over from Wenger's mess and reorganise and rebuild the team from top to bottom.

    Wenger is Selfish. He isn't doing it for the fans, he hasn't for along time. He is doing it for himself. He doesn't know what life without being the Arsenal Manager is and is scared to leave. But his fear is dragging down this incredible club.
    As for his legacy? Totally 100% already spoiled. Only time and alot of it will heal the wounds of the last 12 years.

    The thing is, we've all heard that Arsenal Wenger is in love with the club and way too obsessed with it. It's his ego taking over and if he wasn't an idiot, and if he actually cared and loved Arsenal Football Club then he would resign showing that he cared and he would know that he messed up. ARSENE WENGER IF YOU LEAVE THEN ARSENAL WILL BE BETTER AND I WOULD EXPECT YOU TO LOVE AND RESPECT THE NEW MANAGER AND THE TEAM!!! (This is from a Liverpool fan).

    As someone who isn't an Arsenal supporter, it amazes me to see how Arsenal always seem to be a couple of pieces away from being a serious contender for the title. And yet they never make big moves in the transfer market, always hang on to dead weights, while selling their key players as if they're Southampton.

    I flew all the way to liverpool from sydney australia to watch my first arsenal epl game in the flesh. Have loved the club since i was 4yrs old... never saw them live in competition. Competition is a heavy description of what they showed. But solely blame arsene wenger. What the fuck is that team selection. No lacazette bellerin down the left. Chamberlain playing rwb ahead of putting kolasinac down the left and bellerin right? We cant blame the board when the manager makes these decisions.. theyve let him spend enough with an already thick squad that he could of sold more off and made extra coin.. Wrighty is right Arsene Wenger is sole to blame for this.. and i travelled across the whole globe to watch this calamity. All credit to the arsenal supporters that i stood with. We stayed right til the end and sang with humour and showed the lfc fans that we were true and understood the shit show our team put on.. but no one left. Ill take this experience we me for the rest of my life. But for this season im signing off. And until wenger leaves ill be a passive fan waiting until the next chapter.. post wenger Arsenal. The problem with arsenal is that they are comfortable with their situation. They only complain when they loose matches to top 4 teams or get humiliated in the champions league, but win a community shield, fa cup or fourth place cup and its all good. What arsenal needs to understand is that unless wenger is immortal they will HAVE to go on as a club without him, so "what will we do?" and "who will we get?",will have to be answered sooner or later. The club has an owner that is too busy counting profits and literally gives no fucks about what is upsetting the fans.

    You cant go out at the end of the year and look for a new coach, Arsenal should have worked out who they wanted and targeted him 18 months ago, you look at all the top coaches that have transferred into the PL in the last 2yrs, we could probably have signed any of them, If Arsene truly loves the team as he says he would have ensured a smooth transition of the new coach coming in, if you had told The Ox, Ozil and Alexis last year that Arsene was leaving at the end of his contract and Pep or Conte or Diego was coming in, they probably would have signed new contracts, its so frustrating as an Arsenal fan.

    It's pretty much a combination of the mindset of the players in key periods of the season,Wenger's way of management on the field and the board accepting mediocrity all played a huge key role in Arsenal not being able to challenge or win trophies on a yearly basis. Some of Wenger's decisions on that game along with a dozen others over the years baffles me... He should have left at least either after the FA cup win or the season where Leicester won the title. Wenger's a great coach but not changing his tactics and sometimes bizarre team selections along with substitutions are at the moment his downfall. Even if Wenger leaves,another top hungry manager came,I can tell he's gonna resign if the board still do the same rubbish they've been doing for ages.

    I remember watching this in August and I'm re-watching it again now in January. I'm no Arsenal fan by any means, but to see the club in the state its in is a joke. Just watching them, everything seems so stagnant and stale, with a lot of talking but not much action. A massive revamp is needed, not just in player terms but also higher up. That board has to go, and I think its right that Wenger does too. But they wont. I'm fully convinced Arsene Wenger has it in his heart to win one more title before he leaves. He's won enough FA cups, the league cup is not prestigious enough, and the Champions League is too big an ask. So it has to be the league. But the fact of the matter is that the way Arsenal are right now, they will never win the league as long as he is still there. But he is adamant that he is still the right man, when he is so past it now. He has managed them for way over 1000 games, and it shows! I think it is his arrogance that is his downfall. Obviously he has done so much for the club and has brought them so much success. He should have a statue outside the ground in his honour. But he is so convinced with leaving on a high. He should have left last season after the cup final victory. Arsenal are the team that have now won the oldest and most famous club knockout tournament more times than anyone else, and that should've been his parting gift to the fans, his legacy. It is arrogance that is preventing Arsenal from challenging and progressing.

    They've been saying Wenger should of gone for years now. The Emirates is probably the worst home ground the Premiership for atmosphere but they couldn't give a toss. They would rather overprice their tickets to tourists who look for a day out while they are in London and the proper fans get kicked in the teeth. No clubs are scared to go play there. More noise in a library

    Ar5enal FC Are Becoming A Comedy Club These Day's Of English Football. They are 3 Games in and everyone is calling for his head already which is fair enough that's what it like under Arsene Owl Wenger as their Manager. If I was on Ar5enal FC board way not consider getting in Rafa Benitez from Newcastle United look at his CV everywhere he's went. He's won trophy's and all summer we're all hearing he's Unhappy with Transfer's with Newcastle United. OK I am bit bias because I'm a liverpool fan and I love him but Rafa Benitez would make Ar5enal FC a powerhouse club they once were in English football.

    Pep left Barcelona when they were still winning because he felt he could 'no longer motivate the players'. That looks like the problem Arsenal have been having for the last 5 years at least.

    Bad timing ia an understatement. You wait for the end of the transfer market to sack the coach ? What demented mind would do that ? If you need to make a change do it before the transfer market so the new coach can buy the players he needs, not after it's all finished.

    He is right in every way. People fear dark days saying who can replace Wenger? He is hard to follow etc...I can tell you now any manager can achieve a top 4 with the money this club generates, a success would be a manager that came in and won the league or at the very least challenged for it, something we have not done for 10 years.
    Wenger is scared, he lives for football, he lives for Arsenal but unfortunately for him he is boring and washed up
