If the property is owned in the company how can you access the capital growth tax free in your personal name? Presumably only the business can do this by mortgaging? A loan secured against the shares you own in the business which owns the property is likely to be waaay more expensive than a mortgage on a property? How to extract those funds when the property is owned by the business was really the missing link. It makes way more sense accessing tax free when the property is in your personal name (but inability to offset mortgage interest fully against tax stops folks doing that most of the time these days!)
As the mortgage is a loan you don't pay tax on it. Then it's about being smart with expenses. Just because the money isn't 100% entering your personal account doesn't mean you don't have access to it :)
@@JamieYork obviously agreed on the loan element not attracting tax (that bit is self evident). Expenses will help a bit - but may be harder to access larger amounts unless you've got a particularly clever accountant!
I agree about the right house and area I paid £310k for a two bed semi in a nice area in Essex. Rent is £1250 on a £340 interest only mortgage. Cant wait for my next property but that’s probably 10 years away
