    Having moved to picturesque Busselton WA, which is now our home, I have also explored Perth. I love Perth and Western Australia in general. It is clean, not that crowded compared to other states, has a laidback vibe, modern but also has lots of natural beauty as seen through your videos. I invite everyone to come and visit Western Australia, with it has splendid beaches and pristine nature, you'll be glad you did.

    Great video, looks like you saw a lot. I love seeing families visit Perth. I grew up in Sydney but moved to Perth 30 years ago. So much to see in Perth and WA I still feel like I'm on holidays. (We took our young boys to Singapore for three family holidays in 6 years - love Singapore as well)

    My kids are now 16 and 19 and for the same reason as you , we have been travelling to Singapore with them since they were tiny ...short flight and no time difference. We took them back last month for their 6th trip to SG and we just love it there ❤

      Hi Shook Yee
      We actually travelled from 2 - 11 March and it’s actually suppose to be the start of autumn but it was still as hot as summer. Their summer is actually not bad until there is heat wave and the sun can be scorching pain on your skin. So it’s better to still wear long sleeve to protect yourself and alway out sunblock as the UV level is quite high for Australia. My family actually got sun burned haha.
      I think best time is really autumn and spring. Winter is fun too if you like cold. Just that their day time is shorter than normal. Sunset like 5ish pm. 😊😂

      I rented my car from SIXT and from this website call www.discovercars.com
      best if you can book it as early as 3-4 months. the rental pricing tends to go higher when nearing your dates. before covid it used to be the opposite.

      Hello! I’m glad that you like the video! This whole itinerary took about 10 days. But we took it slow. About 2-3 location a day but I think the most importantly to truly enjoy Perth, really look out for their beauty of the nature. Because it wasn’t our first time there but it was our first time with our children and only realised we missed out so much things because when we were younger we squeezed in as much. Haha.

    Hi we are planning to go Perth in May. Saw your video that you self drive to Pinnacles Dessert. Is it a challenge to do self drive back to Perth city at night from Pinnacles? What might be some things that we need to take note?

    • @twenty3press
      @twenty3press  Год назад +1

      Hey Guan Boo!
      It’s a fantastic place to see stars! If you can visit yanchep national park and the town to replenish supplies/food if you wanna picnic and wait for the sunset. I believe sunset is about 6ish pm.
      The journey back is tougher if you are the only driver because from what I can remember there isn’t any stop/rest point. So I drove almost 2.5 hours non stop back. Of coz I speed abit here and there whenever it’s a straight road. Don’t speed on a curve cause you can’t see on coming traffic.
      Also before u start your journey back, use the toilet at the pinnacles to freshen up before driving back to Perth and load snacks for yourself to keep yourself awake. Generally my attention was much heightened cause it’s at night. So that’s me lah. 😊

    • @sooguan85able
      @sooguan85able Год назад

      Thanks for the tips. Btw, is there any data network in Pinnacles Dessert? As might need the google map to reach there and return back to Perth city.

    • @twenty3press
      @twenty3press  Год назад

      @@sooguan85able Pinnacles Area have network but I think it’s 3G. But you can pre load the googlemap before hand actually. Don’t have to worry about that. In fact I didn’t even pre load and it work all just fine. But u want to play safe? Preload it 😊

      If you can, do an overnight at the Cervantes RAC caravan park. They have really nice chalets. About 15 minutes from the pinnacles.
      You can stop at Lancelin which is about half way between Perth and the pinnacles. You won’t need maps, there’s only one road between Perth and Cervantes.
      Driving on that road at night… can be quite a few kangaroos. Not good if you hit one.
      The best beach in Perth is mullaloo… Cottesloe is overrated. But it looks to me like Twenty went south of Cottesloe on the dog beach, better there 😊

    I love Perth we lived here for 40+ years. I don't know why people from the East coast like to bag Perth. Of course Perth is quieter place than Sydney and Melbourne. People visit Perth for the quieter and laid back life style - I don't know why EC people have carry the same expectation when they visit perth. Enjoy the city for what it is.

    Hi! May I check with you which car rental did you use? TIA!😊

    • @twenty3press
      @twenty3press  Год назад +4

      Hi Aaron! what did was to use www.discovercars.com/australia and search for cars from all the rentals to find the best deals. however you need to book early I feel cause the rental price will only get higher when nearing to your dates. it used to be a lot cheaper and it actually get cheaper at last minute booking.
      So for this trip we were lucky to get a Mercedes GLB 200 for about $1k SGD for 10 days from SIXT and I will alway choose to collect from airport cause its the least troublesome to start your road trip. but if you want to save more money, rent the vehicle outside of airport. really depending how must baggage and children you bringing along haha = ) Hope that helps!

    Hi! Which month did you go and do you know if December is a bad month to go in terms of weather being too warm? Like the week of and before Christmas

    • @twenty3press
      @twenty3press  Год назад +1

      Hi hi!
      Honestly I’m not sure how bad Dec will be. So far my kids is still young and I didn’t have to follow the Dec hols timing.
      From what I understand Dec is still good. When we went during March I felt it was really burning on our skin. So have to put a lot of sun block/ wear long sleeves or just make sure don’t expose yourself too much. Haha cause all of us came home sun burned without realising. So I’m guess Dec will still be good as well.
      As for Christmas I think there is a lot of activities going on in Perth City. In fact you find in RUclips ‘Perth city Christmas’ there is a lot of parades and all. From what I see they all look mostly locals. All these I learned from just watching a lot of RUclips video haha. Never experience myself.
      Hope that helps!

      @@debsmethermark8884 Hello again!
      I rented the car from airport because with kids and luggage, it’s really hard to travel to city to collect car. And returning is also easy. But do take note that the rental price will be higher cause of some airport surcharges.
      I use this website as I find it the cheapest rate by far. www.discovercars.com
