I went to spirit of Aloha in 1994 on my honeymoon! It was really fun. This summer will be our first time staying at the Polynesian in celebration of my son's high school graduation; his choice when we said we could go anywhere. A full circle sort of feeling.
It’s such a stunning and fun resort. We’ve never had the $$ to stay there but we always do the “free option”
Of riding the monorail 🚝 and visiting there, pin trading and getting food via mobile order. So it’s not as good as staying there but it’s free and fun to enjoy the interior and just hanging out there with the kids! I pray one day to be able to stay there for a few days, winning lottery would help LOL 😂
Is it wrong that one of my take always from this video was the bartender with her fingers all over the mouth piece portion of the straw! 😮. That’s not a pandemic comment, I would have noticed that before 2020. Just proper knowledge & hygiene one should have as a food server. Just sayin’! If your watching bar keep, bring back the paper!
New Advent Health/Disney tv commercial is from a Moana room with the same view as yours. Hate the music didn't work on the private beach. Always love it when you start singing. 😎

Hey Nate! The room is gorgeous and I'm obsessed with the floor but I hear ya on the old Poly vibe. I got to stay at the Poly before it was remodeled and I loved the old school vibes. The new style is so nice and bright though! Hope you enjoyed your staycation :) Your videos always lift my spirits. This was definitely needed on a 10 degree day in Chicago!
The room tour had all of Nate’s classic shenanigans. All it was missing was him leaving the room with a bath robe on 😂

I did the Spirit of Aloha a few years ago with my elderly parents and it was fantastic. I hope they bring it back! Food and Entertainment was so much fun!
Hi Nate!! Poly is my absolute favorite resort. Theres just something so unbelievably special about it for me. I was there with my mom in November and stayed in one of the new rooms (the remodel really was needed looking back at the rooms before these. My pictures in the rooms all look so dark) and I'm with you - I LOVE retro WDW so I was a little nervous about the room redesign but I ended up really loving how bright and clean they were! Every little detail at the resort helps create little rituals while we're there. We loved walking home through the little pathway from the TTC back to our room after long park days. The flowers smell absolutely incredible through that area. I also just purchased that spirit jersey! It was a must have for me. We're switching it up a little this year and trying out the Beach Club for EPCOTs 40th anniversary stay but I'll definitely clear some space in our schedule to pop over to my beloved Poly
I LOVED that viewing point for the fireworks. You get to see the actual shapes of the fireworks and it's incredible.

I stayed in the Rarotonga building several years ago. It still had the 1970’s vibe and I LOVED it! It also was extremely close to the Great House. When I was tired at the end of the day, getting back to the room from the monorail was so easy.
This Room Is BEAUTIFUL. It is like an upscale spa hotel / resort in Hawaii.
It's set up just like the remodeled rooms at the Contemporary in the main tower. We were at the Contemporary in Dec that same week my husband hollered at you on the Monorail from where you were doing the Monorail crawl.
My Mom...and her Sister did a Poly vacation (without us kids) in the 70's. However. "Eastern Airlines" (the wings of man) lost their luggage.
And they had nothing to wear for the Luaua they booked.
Being Children of the depression. They made due. using the sheets from the bed and asking the front desk for safety pins.(and band aids...ahhh...it's a nipple thing)
Anyways...they proudly walked in the Poly Lobby and requested a flower for their hair...wearing the green floral print poly bed sheets.
And tennis shoes.

We have been to the Spirit of Aloha a few times and it is a great show. The last time we went it was Lilo and the ohana theme. The show is great and the food was always excellent as well. I do hope they bring back the dinner show and that you will get a chance to attend. I am sure you would love it!

Hello, I did the spirit of Aloha. It was an awesome show. The pathway you too was a stop point where you had a photo op before the show. The food and drinks was also good. It was a nice fun night on a off park day.

I am rewatching your hotel stays as they are so good. The mural is Maui’s tattoos which is so cool. If I ever have a honeymoon (unlikely 🤣) that’s where I would stay. I used to say the Contemporary but no I think the Poly has taken 1st place in my heart. 👍
The Luau used to be a great experience. Should be back some day. We stayed at another property- but did it about 10 years ago & it was well worth the money. You are an amazing Disney blogger man. Keep it up

I went to Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show many years ago. It was amazing and food was delicious.
We went to that show many years ago it was very nice to bad just one more thing Disney is taking away to putting up a huge hotel to make more money from when will it ever stop, probably never. So sad 😞

Spirit of Alohas head chef got my stepmoms order wrong multiple times until where it was an actual issue and my stepmom isn’t really a Karen but she does have the ferocity of one and that was one of those times she unleashed it.
Staying at the poly is very high up on my bucket list. It’s just so expensive!
They Should bring back Spirit of Aloha and it should be a newly revamped show! Now that Disney has Aulani they should look into the show they perform there and do a mini version of it here.

Loved seeing the Poly! We’ve been to the Spirit of Aloha and absolutely enjoyed the show. My husband even got to be on stage once (it was his birthday). I sure hope it comes back as the tradition is wonderful.

Wow, this is bringing back memories. We just went to the LUAU right before the pandemic came out. It was unfortunately cold because we did in February of that year. We were laughing because we had to hula with our winter coats on. It was like a fluke cold weekend, and then we we had to leave it warmed back up.

We are in Florida for 2 weeks and so are Andrea's parents.. we introduced them to your channel the other night! We did the spirit of Olaha dinner show back in 2018. It was so amazing! It makes me sad to hear that it’s probably not coming back. The food was awesome, the show was amazing.

So funny you actually went under the bed! 😂 We did the Spirit of Aloha maybe 7 years ago for my parents anniversary. It was AMAZING! Excellent food and the dancers were amazing. We sat in the first tier so my mom got picked to join the fire throwing guy. It was so much fun! If it comes back, you definitely have to go 😁

That was the waiting area for the show. The torches would be lit and there was water in the creek. It was a fun time. My boys all wore their Hawaiian shirts. Great memories. 😎👍🏻
