The fire pump did its job. There meant to run until they eat themselves alive. There should have been a pump running supervisory at the panel but it’s common unfortunately some alarm systems don’t have that module programmed, along with loss of phase and phase reversal. Obviously there was no run timer engaged on the fire pump as well. If there was on an automatic start after 10 min the pump should shut off as long as there’s no call for flow.
