I learned through my job and myself, reading manuals and books, videos are more easy to learn than read, so I recommend you watch video and some pdf tutorials, depends on what you want to learn, and if you want to prove your knowledge you can do some catia certification :)

I don't understand why so many companies use Catia, it is complicate and not perfect CAD software.

Alberto - you learned through University or with textbook? Took only 3 months? Seems like very complicated program taking years to master. How would you recommend I start (other than to watch the videos)?

Hi, ellesse59, well it take me like 3 months, but on the way I have learned need things, Catia is to huge, rigth now am stuck with no pc :/ so my tutorials are on stop, I am planning to make some of Catia Knowledgeware and Catia Script, hope can do it at the end of the year, and thx for watching :)

Hola porque en catia v5 me da la (Y) en la pocisiòn de (X) ? Esto afecta cuando meto a maquinar mi pieza mecanica ? Me refiero a la pocisiòn .
