A fantastic rebuild of this british legend. The video was awesome. Watching the finished driving along those beautiful roads must be out of this world. Thanks for sharing your car rebuild journey. I keep watching it over and over again. Brilliant.
been restoring cars for only 20 years now. this is bar none the most insane thing i've ever seen. how did you and this not get on top gear. hey clarkson WAKE UP!
Magnifique travail de restauration, bravo les gars, si cela pouvait aller aussi vite que cette vidéo :-) je viens d'en acheter une de 1971...je vois ce qui m'attend
well done gents outstanding work and video. you've got a good pace on the time lapse, great to watch. I've done a body up restoration but started with a new Heritage shell. Get a ride in a V8 converted MG B then consider it yourselves, it will transform the car even further, you guys have the skills to convert. Put a high final drive in it and it will be an effortless long distance and performance car. Why not have an American engine with your Italian styling..! Well done.
Pretty awesome rebuild. I'm saving for one of these. I want to turn it into a potent track weapon. Cosworth engine, beefed suspension, and a much wider stance with functional aerodynamics.
Thanks for all the comments! Shroom Duke Being such an involved rebuild and my first time attempting bodywork/panel welding, there are a few details that could do with tidying. +ke vin The engine is stock, although since this edit was made, it blew and has been replaced with a rebuilt one of the same spec. +Tim R Even though 95% of the work was done myself or through cashing in favors, these projects always add up to far more than you'd like even with a cheap car like a B, its been a great learning experience that I can apply to many future cars/projects though. The trip was through the French and Swiss Alps. Cheers, Ollie
I have had three GTs over the last 44 years and have never had a roadster. The classics always prevail. I admire your schedule and procedure. Still tweaking my current '72 model with chrome bumpers (is there really any other kind?) Rule Brittania !
Jeez, bit of work in that! I’ve just started mine (obviously why im getting recommendations like this). Hopefully there’ll be less bodywork being an Australian car (69 GT in BRG as well)
This was an amazing video, but if you broke this video into vlogs and walk throughs I bet you would have gained many subscribers(and money). If you do another restoration, singular episodes gain interest from people which create a following(which creates money) to put into more cars. Absolutely loved the video though, love mgbs
I just bought an MG roadster this weekend. Gonna look for a coupe fastback hard top attachment. Loved seeing this build. Great work!

That was a very impressive and competent rebuild. The MGB GT is one of my most favourite cars, especially in British racing green. Marvellous!
I like the way they build the spray boot with wood frames and dust sheets, well done guys very inspirational.
