- Luke Waggoner, age 13, has a rare and severe form of epilepsy called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome.
Over the years, his seizures were getting worse, striking multiple times a day sometimes in back-to-back clusters that sent him to the hospital.
This summer, his family turned to a new treatment option: deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery.
