  • Davidstow airfield was an active Royal Air Force Station for just three years, from 1942 to 1945, but in that short time it was home to Coastal Command squadrons involved in Air Sea Rescue and U-Boat hunting.
The site was used by American bombers, the Royal Canadian Air Force and the Polish Air Force, as well as the RAF. But sadly, during the airfield’s brief history, it also saw its fair share of fatalities.
It is, perhaps, for this reason, along with the, abandoned buildings dotted across the desolate landscape, that Davidstow airfield has gained a bit of a reputation over the years for ghost hunters.
We've been treated to a tour of the eerie site.
