man that has to be one of the sexiest blade shapes that I have seen in a while. Like a Smock but even better!
Pre-ordered the limited edition one since i like carbon fiber and hand rubbed satin over titanium and bead blasted. I like the original grind with having a small flat under the window hole. Haven't been excited about a knife like this in quite a while. May can't come soon enough.

it kind of makes you wonder why no one has thought of a button/ framelock before. It only makes sense to add a hole to create a button to release the frame lock. Blaise is an awesome dude. The guy went out of his way to make sure I ended up on the list. This knife is awesomeness
Finally received my preorder from way back, threw some skiffs on it like I do w all my knives, and I love it!
The only thing that isn’t fantastic is the front flipper action
Love it, I like options and this has plenty. I like this blade shape and it’s going to be Magnacut.

I’ve been seeing the original model on the second hand market and really liked it. They knocked it out of the park with this one and I can’t wait to get one.
I own them both and I wouldn’t call the standard large at all. Now the caliber is quite large
Outside of Protech most button lock flippers are just ok. I was so surprised when i got a Malibu and went to flip it and it actually felt like a great detent. But that's the difference between a $70 knife and a $270 knife.

It sucks that knives like this are basically inaccessible for most. I say that assuming there's not going to be a ton of these and they will be $$$, but I guess I don't know that i'm not familiar with this particular brand. It's a great design that just makes a lot of sense.
Basic option is $330 I think. But he says there should be plenty so good odds you can get one. And there’s sezzle option and I think PayPal. If so I’m using PayPal pay in 4! Makes it more affordable and accessible for people like us. 👍👊😁😂

Tender fingers? I think you mean pussy fingers lol. It always makes me laugh when RUclips knife reviewers complain about how something hurts their delicate fingers, seems like they should stick to automatics or slip joints. Regardless, great video, I've been enjoying your videos for years.
@@bubbicus yeah, I do my best to remember that not everyone spends hours a day grinding steel and being abusive to their hands like I have for years. A typical office working dude is going to have softer hands and will be more sensitive to harsh areas on their knives. Hot spots can really take away from the love of any design, and when areas like a lockbar are harsh or sharp, it makes the fun of fidgeting with your favorite new knife not so fun anymore.
@@JimSkeltonKnives all very excellent and diplomatic points. I work in an office all day long, so I have some pretty wimpy fingers, but the only knife in my collection that I don't like flipping open is the Brous Blades Reloader, the jimping on that bastard eats my finger. I only keep it because I think it looks awesome.
