Whats with the cringe sitting on knee thing the usa women do during their national anthem? I've never seen a team disrespect its anthem like that, disgusting.

American athletes have been kneeling for their anthem for years - to protest police brutality against minorities. It’s a very respectful way to draw attention to a serious societal issue. I find it very strange anyone doesn’t know this, but I may be more familiar with certain US issues than most non-US rugby fans

@@robstarr9270 how will that draw attention to police brutality? An anthem is sacred. We have 10 times more problems in my country but an anthem is an anthem.

@@robstarr9270It's just Americans being virtue signalling and ridiculous. It has zero impact but to make these idiots feel like they're actually accomplishing something. Typical Americans.

@@sunlightliquid8420 You may feel an anthem is sacred. Many Americans feel that their country needs to do much more to correct societal inequities that have resulted from centuries of oppression - especially of African Americans - and it has become a common practice among athletes to demonstrate their views this way. I applaud them for doing so.

@@iantaylor9716Americans are babies then who seek attention wherever possible, my country has a 60 percent unemployment rate and one of the highest murd3r and rape rate in the world. But we sing out anthem with pride, our sports players cry singing it every single Tim because an anthem is for the people not the country, its for what makes you unique, its an appreciate of your culture and what makes your people unique. I will die for my problematic beautiful country.
