I’m 6 months into my ownership of a 2024 XC60 Ultimate Dark in Denim Blue with Blonde interior.
Extra options are the Protection Package as well as massaging seats.
I have nothing bad to say at all, only great things. Well built, great materials and craftsmanship.
I am coming out of a Mercedes Benz E-Class which I loved. Just wanted to comment as to the luxury of the Volvo and it is every bit as luxurious as the Benz.
Just got mine same same. My third Volvo
I love Volvos. It’s not overstyled. Just elegant and has all the safety features you need.
Very thorough information and honest.I am glad you honk to show what it sounds like coz I purchased a vehicle once and never liked its honk ever but had to live with it for a long time.Great job.
Very detailed review. Absolutely outstanding! Congrats on your excellent preparation in every aspect of car operation and its functions.
I have a 2015 XC60 and love it. It's the best car I've ever owned and I will probably be an XC60 driver as long as I'm driving. Love how simple the design remains over the years.
Yes, very solid build quality too
Great detailed review! Thank you!
Great review, thank you)
Even the turn signal sounds fancy!
I like the stereo and the speedometer. This is so cool😊
Got mine last month!!!!! IT IS MAGNIFICENT! 11/10!!!! I got to get the Silver Dawn Dark Theme AWD B5 Plus Mild Hybrid!❤❤❤
Congratulations!:)
how do you feel about long run of maintence price, did you buy an extended warranty, looking to buy here in Orlando. thank you
Do any of these have the massaging seats? I have really bad back problems and I sat in one of these Volvos and it had massaging seats, heat that made my back feel so good while driving it. I am now looking for a car and I can’t get past those massaging seats.
@@kimmerkt6710if you go for ultimate trim level you get massage seats etc as standard.
@@josechi.6560 they have the best maintenance service according to this one customer whom when I am still applying and he happens to be there for his maintenance said: his Unit is almost 20 years…. He recently relocated from California to GA. He appears to be very well-off…..
Love Your Videos, on the rear tailgate you have to do a direct kick right under the V with the keyfob in your pocket to use the sensor to open. The trick is to make sure your foot lines up with the V
Thank you and thank you for letting me know :)
I am on my third Volvo. I lease them so I got my first in 2018, XC 60. In denim blue, 2021 XC90 in black and now a 2024 XC60 T8 recharge plug in hybrid in thunder grey/blond interior. This is my favorite of the three. To me the XC 60 is way more fun to drive than the XC 90 unless you need that extra space. The plug-in hybrid is tremendous. For local driving you get about 45 miles with electric power, and roughly 430 hp combined between gas and electric motors. I’ve had it for two months and I’ve put gas in my car two or three times.
Just bought mine last week and I’m in love. The only downside of it, is the I feel like there’s a lot of lack of technology features comparing to Mercedes and bmw
Now my dream SUV!
Wow! This one looks nice!
Great review. We own a 23 B6 ultimate and love itformany of the reasons you like it. I think many of the reviewers miss a couple of key points with this car. The lack of physical climate conrtols is not an issue as all those plus seat and steering can all be adjusted by voice. So there is no need, plus the screen controls are easy to navigate. Second is with performance, i got a 23 just to get the B6, as it was fazed out for 24, but reviewers dont mention you can get the polestar performance programming upgrade on any mild hybrid. Its @ $1500. It makes adjustments to throttle and shifting and how the mild hybrid motor operates. It makes a noticeable difference in acceleration as well as up/down shift. It also disables auto engine stop. I think its equivalent to about 40 hp.
Any way its a great vehicle for the price, very comfortable, quiet and smooth ride.
Thank you for the write up!
Better than reading the user manual to explain the controls. Great review.
Thank you!
My perfect Volvo XC60 SUV I wanted to buy.
Great Review, very detailed. Thank you. We are test driving this car tomorrow. The only thing I don't like about this car is the rear seat cupholders.
Thank you! Cup holders too small? Or you don’t like the set up of them?
That was my first impression of those cup holders in the back. However, as I think about how having drinks in less secure holders, could have a wet mess all over the place, in the event of a HUGE braking event, they are growing on me!😩😋😉
Always hoping someone highlights the built in back seat booster seats for kiddos. I think once I saw it being mentioned for an older model :/ or for the XC90.
I will try to highlight that next time
Great review. I’m thinking about buying this vehicle, but the four-cylinder has me hesitant. Have you ever compared it to Acura MDX or Honda Pilot?
I have not - but I can tell you you do not need to be worried about power.. Its plenty peppy.. Take a test drive and see what you think
looking to buy one, tested already, looking to get a better deal, from $54500 maybe to $50700
same trim but maybe 1 package less
Can any of the dealer added options be taken out to help lower the MSRP such as the all weather floormats?
In Serbia same spec car is exactly 74.000$
Is that thunder grey? Kinda looks like the new Vapo(u)r grey to me
It is Vapour Gray. I misspoke
How would you compare this to the XC40?
Definitely a bit different. I like the styling of the 60 better. A bit more room in the 60 as well. However, considering the size of the 40, there’s actually more room inside than you would expect. Honestly, it all depends on what you are looking for in a vehicle. How many people will you normally drive with? How much cargo space do you need? Do you want something fully electric?
Unknown spot is for a clothes hanging rod but Volvo doesn't offer it as an accessory
whats the highest speed bump rating you ever had wihch car was it ?!
Hmmm… I can’t remember to be honest. I should make a list though haha
yeah haha ! @@703Speed
Dang, XC60 Plus for $50k? In my city, the XC40 Plus is listed as $50k.
Bravo
Shame that Volvo stopped making 5 cylinder engines. Great review as always. Greetings
I agree, they sounded great. Thank you Luki:)
0 to 60 in 6.5 is quick enough for city drive
No cooled or ventilated seats?
It's an option not standard on the plus UT is on the ultimate trim
Does this come with a wireless phone charger?
It’s so sad no power steering , wire less charger, no drive modesfor this money
This is Thunder Gray or Vapour Gray?
Thunder
It is not. Look at the window sticker you showed. It is vapour gray. Please, when doing these videos, try to learn more about the car and at least have the decency of reading the window sticker.
Bottom right of the window sticker, on top of the bar code says: Vapour Gray. Love people that judges them as car experts when they cannot even get the car color right.
@@raphaelalmeida7046 did I ever say I was an expert? I’m assuming you’re perfect and never made a mistake?
Trading my Alfa Romeo Stelvio for one of these!
What did you think of your Stelvio?
Loved it. This is my second one but I always liked the XC60 and it has a much nicer interior than the Stelvio. Stelvio is a blast to drive though.@@703Speed
Only Apple car play with WIRE!. AND no Android Auto😮😢
Android auto is standard, the infotainment is google based. So android is wireless and so is Apple car ply on my 2023 b6 ultimate
Competitive price
I hated my 2020. Couldn’t wait for the lease to end to dump it. No more Volvos for me.
What was so bad about it?
@@703Speed The worst infotainment system ever. Dealership service was horrible. Bad transmission. Rattles all over. Useless HUD.
The infotainment could use some work, I agree. Im surprised at the other complaints though because Volvos are usually pretty solid @@RaulCastroAtlanta
@@RaulCastroAtlanta I was complaining about the infotainment system on my 2020 Volvo xc90 than like 2 days later I got rear ended by a Toyota Tacoma and my car held up really well meanwhile the Toyota smashed up like an accordion! The side airbags deployed throughout the whole car and I felt so protected, 2 months in and I have yet to get any back or neck pain… Trust me these cars are the safest you will get and the infotainment issues is nothing compared to the protection you get from these cars!!! Needless to say I replaced that car with a 2024 Volvo XC60 B5 AWD and I love it!! I will always choose Volvos, safety comes first.
