I own this 2023 XC60 but Ultimate which is an upper trim. I love every aspect of this car. The interior and exterior quality is superb, better than Merc or BMW. I know it depreciates a lot over time but I guess it is no different to other cars in the same segment. It makes me happy every time I drive.

      Pls explain
U definitely need to think about depreciation.
A Lease involves a RV at end of term.
U definitely need to pick a suitable term & RV, that matches up with how long u intend to keep the vehicle
      - annual mileage
      - how well u maintain your car etc
Otherwise, the market value when u want to change vehicles
, or it’s market value at end of term will be less then the RV.
And the shortfall is something u would need to pay the financier…

Hello Paul. I've been back in the UK two years after spending a very long time in WA and SA and China. We are just about to take delivery of the XC60 T8 and your video is an essential part of the learning curve. You explain things very simply with a down to earth approach. We will drive from the Cotswolds in the South of England up to Scotland and am looking forward to seeing just how good it is. Thank you very much for the review

Have owned a xc60 ultimate B6 with 21s for a few months and very impressed. Agree with the review on the exterior and interior styling. Its simple and elegant. Fit and finish as well as materials can compete easily with bmw and mercedes but in my opinion the volvo is far nicer inside.
I also opted for the polestar performance upgrade which does give you a sport mode or as they call it polester mode. Very noticeable changes to gear selection and shifting also uses mild hybrid motor for an extra boost, bit short lived something like 20 seconds until the 48 volt battery is depleted but certainly helps in passing and such. It is by far the most comfortable car ive driven, not sure what it is but their seats a super comfy and the massage doesnt hurt.

I have just returned from two weeks in the UK where we hired one of these, my only gripe with it was the depth of the cargo space in my car my large suitcase could sit on its side, in the Volvo it shad to sit flat, which means we could only get two suitcases in the boot all our other luggage had to sit on the back seat. So the boot is way smaller than a Skoda Octavia.

Is Plus with B5 AWD a base model in Australia? In Poland the base is Essential with B4 FWD petrol engine. To get B5 petrol you have to first upgrade from Essential -> Core -> Plus and even then you still have base B4 FWD petrol. So again you have to upgrade from B4 petrol -> B4 Diesel -> B4 diesel AWD -> B5 petrol AWD. Having B5 petrol AWD Plus you still have to pay extra for additional packages like Lightning (high beam LED + fog LED), Climate, DriverAssist. What is more important due to lack of semiconductors DriverAssist is without BLISS, CTA from My2024. Now those features are only available in Ultimate - and still you have no warranty from the seller that those will be installed. It is a shame that you can buy car three times cheaper having this option. Moreover Plus (in Poland) is sold as Dark only. Bright Plus is standard in plugin hybrids, you have to pay extra for Dark.

This is a family car driven calmly by parents ferrying children from point A to point B. Comfort, convenience , utility and safety matter, not traffic light Grand Prix.
I sincerely hope that you misguided car journalists can get over the need to focus on high speed cornering and handling - buyer’s (and your audience) really don’t care, nor should they. On that note, I doubt anyone cares about top speed in reverse gear. You’re much better off displaying the acceleration/braking/noise data with comparable cars that have previously been tested.
