Would LOVE to hear more about this!! I totally get why you don’t want to do more traditional media - I think what Zoe was trying to say is that you don’t have any control over the narrative. Editing can change sooooo much and the editors can literally choose whether they want to make you look like a hero or a villain and that’s so so terrifying!!
I think you’re right. It’s scary when you don’t know what parts they’ll edit out or keep in and there’s already a lot of drama on tv and things like that they can literally do whatever they feel like and all it takes is for someone to not like Zoe or Alfie and then use that to their advantage

Me and my girlfriend both just turned 26, she introduced me to the two of you about two years ago, and we've been watching your videos ever since together. You two are such great examples as parents, and really are expanders for us in life. The love, the warmth, the kindness, the communication between the two of you and the care for family and friends. We are watching with a smile on our faces everytime a new video has been uploaded, and it makes us more excited for our own futures when we will be able to have kids and start our own family. For the garden, I absolutely recommend having a little section of garden bed near the house for each of the girls. My parents gave us each a small bit to plant and grow our own veg in when we were little and it was great for us to learn and really get involved in the garden.

I think it’s good how you both could have taken loads of opportunities and gained more money and fame and followers but you stayed true to yourselves and didn’t take those opportunities. You tube was all you ever wanted and building your businesses from that is amazing. I find these chats so interesting :)

I think what you describe at the end also comes down to not wanting to be portrayed as someone you’re not. Like in your videos you have control over it, in interviews, on tv and with editing you don’t really have that - they can edit you to be someone you’re not

Yes please talk more about media and turning down opportunities!!! There’s so much behind the scenes of a successful and authentic life that we often don’t see and I think it helps us stop comparing and start doing what really makes us happy.

This might be a controversial answer to some but I've always desired to be closer to my parents, learn more about/from them, spend quality time together doing the simplest things, have meals together, laugh together, comfort each other... but over time I realised that this was never meant to be and I don't seek that out from them anymore, and funnily enough this has brought me so much peace, courage and self-love. A lot of sadness came from yearning for parental figures in my life especially when I was younger, and there are still days now when I still hope for it and end up hating myself because it only makes me feel smaller. I realised that holding on to that hope made me bitter and sad. And acceptance gave me peace. And there are times when I watch the way some parents are with their children in public, or like with you and Zoe with Ottie and Novie in your vlogs, and it actually makes me tear up with joy when I see kids who are nurtured with such care, patience and guidance because they radiate so much confidence and joy and I learn so much of the type of parent I hope to be someday with my better half.

These videos are helping me so much! I moved to a big city on my own far away from my family. I have to work from Monday to Saturday and Sundays is always my day alone. Sometimes I miss my family on Sundays but seeing your videos makes me feel less lonely! So thanks for being here and thank you for bringing such positivity in my life 😊

In Denmark is it generally just advised to not get the boxwood because the caterpillars/larvae are near impossible to get rid of :')
