The 0.1% is interesting. Did not expect the 5800x3d to drop.
It wasn't that big after the first one, so probably was a Shader compilation, also if you run Vulkan Both Intel and AMD have better 0.1% and 1 % lows
14600k gets close but only because its on ddr5.. amazing that 5800x3d is still faster being a ddr4 based system. - 14600k running ddr4 would be much slower
I will also test it on DDR4 this week so it can be compared!
Is it safe to build a new PC with a 13600k for work and exclusively for competitive gaming? Intel is now more affordable than AMD, today it has the top z690 at $200 and the 13600k at $240, what do you think? Build a cheaper PC and wait until 2025 to see what the new releases will be like, or just kick the bucket?
I'm surprised how well the 14600K does despite all the complaints I read on Reddit. DM is particularly brutal on performance too.
The i5 14600K is a solid allrounder! However i do understand the complaints, as intel is not inovating with the 14th gen, it is only a slight refresh of the 13600K.

OMG 😱 DDR4 is equal to DDR5 with the 5800x3D.
5800x3D beats it in other games too unless its intel sponsored game, same goes for amd to. But in other games where theres no sponsorshpi etc 5800x3D is beating it

Not really. 5800x3d is just for pure gaming. 14600k has better stability for game+work

With 14600k you will need new mobos which are more expensive, you will need ddr5 ram in order to compete which are way more expensive (with ddr4 5800x3d destroys it). For 5800x3D you could go old mobos and ddr4 ram and still destory it. 5800x3d is a no brainer pick if you game only. I5s cpus are considered gaming cpus while i7-i9 are for other things too. So if you render and do all other stuff dont pick i5 at all just go for i7.

you realize you are comparing a ddr4 and a ddr5 system it's unfair for the 5800x3d
There is no ddr5 5800X3D, so this is the way they can be compared.
I purely test it so people can see the differences etc.
@@aljerbench first of all i appreciate you posting the comparison but 14600k does support DDR4 i get that it's the dilemma of making the 5800x3d look bad or lock the 14600k full potential
Aah in that way you are very much correct, in the future i want to make both DDR4 and DDR5 for cpu’s that support it.

Test crap. It doesn't show the whole truth. In different locations, different FPS! Do not be put off by this test, it is not correct.
It is a five minute average of both the cpu’s on the same map, it represents how a real world scenario would look. There is no way to accurately display it in a deathmatch with random online players on two different pcs.
The players will never act the same. If you have any suggestions on how to do it better then i’d appreciate it, but for now this is it
@@aljerbench We need to create equal conditions. Launch the map without bots and make stops at different points. Fix the value you get and this will be the only correct option
@pryan6049 Invaluable data which is not a realistic scenario, and not helpful for most people.
If you play a map for 10 minutes, the average fps will smooth out and the one with the highest fps is better. It’s not like it’s another map that is being played. Every run l do gives me the same results
