Hey Kelly, if you have a moment I’d love to hear from you regarding where you lost the trail in Econfina. I’m out there from Sep to Apr doing trail maintenance with the Panhandle Chapter and the more feedback we get the better we can address issues.
Every time I go to PCB lately I look for the Florida trail where it has to cross 79 in Ebro but can never find it. I know that the category 5 hurricane that came through that area laid waste to the forest as I have seen it myself. I see you ate at Pineapple Willy's as has already been pointed out. I look forward to seeing you finish the trail later. I saw you on Taylor's AT blog and loved it and I'm about to watch your video of the same "21" AT class reunion.
When I went to rattlesnake lake. All you could see was the roof of the pavilion the water was so high. Now they have a new route around it.. the trail used to cut right through it.
I guess lots of is remember when that area got hit by the hurricane. It got hit bad. And evidently it takes a long time to come back. I'd love to see what it was like before it got blasted. Glad you guys had some down time at da beach!
Lots of hurricane damage in FL as it's bordered by the Altantic and Gulf of Mexico where hurricanes flourish every hurricane season. Glad you can enjoy a couple of zero days on the beach.
Coyotes are severe pest and should be maintained but setting a trap to only have them sit and suffer is an inhumane thing to do. Sweet vacation spot, four zeros in a row right there!
Good to see you all taking some down time. It looks like you are about done with the Fl.trail. Is James going to join you at anytime??? Stay safe and Happy Hiking ⛺️🥾💞
I just noticed the more your out in trail your accent becomes more prominent!!!!! It’s so beautiful on you. Still the trail princess in my eyes. Glad your have fun now. Thank you for sharing. I spent the night in the VA hospital with pancreatic problems. We’ll see what’s happening later. But watched from hospital bed. Ok, gonna finish up this section and await for the next. SEMPER FI ❤
I understand the nuisance aspect and wanting to eliminate that. But, deal with that humanly. Trapping a coyote and just letting it sit there alone and scared to die a miserable death without water or food in the Florida sun is barbaric.
Coyotes are landsharks! Why are people so naive? They rip apart deer, turkeys, rabbits you name it . They are the number 1 threat to fawns in May when they're being born. I'm coyote hunting tonight with thermal weapons. The hides tan out pretty and buzzards enjoy em too.
I’m all for controlling their population however that coyote looked like he’d been there for days and days. If they are guna set snares, someone should be checking them daily and not just let them be trapped and suffer.
I live right down the road from PCB. I’ve hiked the FT east of Elgin AFB. I know you publish these vids in the future but just wanna say I would leave you trail magic if I knew when you would be hiking by! You’re almost done! Yahoo!

That's insane how far you've walked, Kelly. When you pointed it out on the map, it really gave it perspective. ✌️
Beach time is fun time for all. Enjoy

Side note. Your going to get your share of beach before long
Zero days are a must!!! You're killing it!
Oh Yes!.....You done good.....sugar sand and great water........keep on ...keep on and Thank you!
As full time traveler I usually end up at Panama City & eat where y’all ate “Pineapple Willys”
Enjoy the beach!
Best hiking channel on RUclips!!!
The happy strangers that Kelly collects along the trail is amazing. Glad to see that it's time for a vacation at the resort hotel on a beach.
All this hiking makes me tired.)
The coyote just looked stuck on the wrong side of the fence. What am I missing?
Snare traps set up on the fence
@@kellyhays23oh no! Could you have sprung the traps? He wasn't caught in one though right? Thank you for calling to help him😢 I hope he was ok.
He was caught in one :( we didn’t dare get too close bc we didn’t know what he would do
@@kellyhays23 awe the poor thing.
headed to Florida soon, plan to look for the Florida trail and maybe run some of it.
Looks like fun. Getting close.
Storm damage can be crazy. We get the odd tornado up here in Alberta but there’s no storm surge with those. 👍
I guess lots of is remember when that area got hit by the hurricane. It got hit bad. And evidently it takes a long time to come back. I'd love to see what it was like before it got blasted. Glad you guys had some down time at da beach!

The Florida Trail just hits a little different. lol
Kelly can you tell me which water filtration system you used for this trip. Thank you! ❤️
Wow the trail looks really rough since the hurricane. I’m sure you had fun at the beach.😊
AWESOME!!! The beach and the mountains have my heart!!! I live on the beach in Florida, but I have to get my time in the mountains too🥰🥰🥰

Sweet vacation spot, four zeros in a row right there!
Coyote was trapped as pest control not fur trade, I assume to keep spring turkeys alive, have to check every day
Glad you had great time at PCB. ❤

Enjoy the beach!! You deserve a break!
I've done lots of exploring in that area
It's called Ebro FL
Beach days are always fun. You're livin the life

Well, as devastating as nature can be, there's only such much it could do to a trail...and...what a lot of walking!
Cool 😊
Aw man Pineapple Willy's, I got way too drunk there several times.
Hey from New Mexico ❤😊
Miss Kelly, a well deserved double zero in Panama City!!!
Do you know what happened to the coyote?
assuming they shot him
😮😢😳

I agree!
I agree as well. Daily trap checks. That's bad juju causing unnecessary suffering.
They'll also done lots of logging back in there too
I'm Florida toughiest swimmer I swim all the way across the bay there at the Bailey Bridge multiple times
Kelly whats up
That's funny the Porta-Potty is felon over I definitely don't want me swimming at that pond
Whoever did that to that coyote shame on them
Coyotes are predators the kill and eat fawn’s alive the are over populated and a nuisance try reaching before you yap!
I wish that snare was mine.
ugh. poor coyote. makes me so sad😔 I know they are considered nuisance animals, but still....
It’s actually….E-bro
you are so cute

Puppy dogs that kill for fun. They eat the ass end out of deer and leave the rest.

@@kellyhays23 your absolutely right. Snares should be checked every morning without fail.
