My friend passed away from a motorcycle accident a week ago it’s tragic very lucky he is
Sorry to hear that.
So sorry to hear; hang in there.
Thank you to all the people that helped to save Terry its amazing what air ambulance paramedics and doctors do you each are the real hero
As I fellow biker who has also had his confidence knocked due to an accident resulting in surgery ect I can completely understand how he's felt with regards to biking again. We all have to make that tough decision whether or not to ride again eventually. Me personally it's taken me 5 years to gain my confidence back after my accident and start riding again
Terry, so glad you're about and tinkering❤️ So glad to live in a country that has universal health coverage so people can be saved without crippling debt.
The poor guy...just out and about on his bike..and bam
So lucky and what a recovery for that age!
Poof guy. I know how it feels. I was going down a 3 lane carriageway at 35mph (5 mph under the speed limit) in the far right lane, in the middle of my lane, fully visible. Next minute a guy comes flying out from the middle lane right into my path. I hit his car and went straight over it. Breaking 3 ribs, a bone in my arm and tearing all the ligaments in my ankle. Luckily I had fully comp insurance so persudd s claim. Unfortunately and very frustratingly the two witnesses didn't release their statements to lawyers despite them writing multiple times to them and I remember them admitting to police the guy in the car was guilty and corroborated my story. This meant they could on split liability 50/50. Total injustice because I only got half the money was due and I can only work Limited hours due to recovering from my injuries 3 years on. I too am afraid of getting on a bike and the few times I have been for a ride I've been extra cautious and have invested in a helmet cam at My own expense. What makes it worse is the guy never even apologised to me just said to a passer by (I didn't see him). He didn't check on me once when I was on the floor in agony either. Shame on him and the witnesses for not releasing their statements. He got off scot free without a single charge too
Glad My Nephew Got Rid Of His Motorcycle Years Back.
The title suggests they had a drag race against a motorbike
115bpm after flying 30m off a motorbike is sus?
Moral of story , stay away from motorbikes
I’m just confused on why he’s naked. I’ve never seen this done in America😭
The only way to accurately assess for potential trauma is to expose the patient down to the skin. You can only see bruising, discolouration, rigidity etc if you can see the skin.
Because it is easier to see what's going on
My fiance had a near fatal bike crash, multiple open fractures etc and they cut all of his clothes off.
no pelvic binder? C-spine collar......................deteriorating patient.... motorcyclist thrown off... still deciding to give TXA though (rightfully) this doctor has some balls....... bit silly.
Veteran biker? why's he on a beginner bike like a Vulcan S?
Why do these presenters make these assumptions that he might be this or that checking will clarify what condition the motorcycle rider is in ?
Why have they putting his cloth off?
to assess the injuries
Because it is easier to see how bad the injuries are. Kinda common sense.
