- While promoting his new series, The American Barber, on the Rachael Ray Show, Kyan pulls off an amazing makeover with Elena Linares from the Miami episode... it literally brings the man to tears!
Wow! There was a handsome man hiding under all that hair! And about 10 years younger!
Amazing the imagination the stylists have to be able to envision the end product and go for it. I can’t but am always floored by the fabulous results!!
someone else must have also posted this, because i recall commenting on it before. if she'd act like this in front of a studio and tv audience, imagine how she and her staff behave in the salon. you don't paw at man who is married and you don't do it in front of his wife. unprofessional and shameful.

He might've been nervous about being on tv & she was just being supportive. So many read too much into a nice small gesture it is really sad at times.

They should input all that money and air time on things that matter. Like pharmaceuticals in local city water. Have your water tested for pharmaceuticals. Things that would have a huge impact. Not some one who shaves his beard. Common people.

Why couldn't they leave some of the beard? Why shaving him completely? :(
They did ask him how far he was willing to go - clean-shaven, a little beard, etc. - and his answer was that when he married his wife he had no beard, and so he was willing to go back that far. I think it was really great that he was willing to do that to please her - you can see how thrilled she was with the results, and he looked very happy too! And besides, it’s not like he can’t grow his beard back if he wanted to -- it was just for the fun of the makeover. :-)
Because most woman are so super boring and want a man to be shaved... I had a beard since i could grow one and would never shave it for anyone... if a man can grow a full beard, it can be such a masculine and great look for a man. Thankfully i am gay and married for 15 years with a tall bearded man so we are both rocking beards and love it... we rarely find men without beards attractive.
I’m a woman, all my friends are women, and I can’t really think of a single woman I know that prefers a shaved man. So idk where you live
