super bright when you were talking, but once you started singing with the acoustic, I really dug it! Great job dude. Your voice is strikingly good. I hope you're still working on music because you're a great artist.
Dude, how do you write lyrics so deep and meaningful!? They're just amazing and so beautiful! Keep up the amazing music bro, your voice and sound is so unique, I don't know how you only have 1000 subs. You deserve like at least a million
Came to hear a mic but what a bonus! Tanner, this kinda blew me away and enjoyed this dark but rich colored journey where time stands still..The bridge really went into flight .Amazing song !
Very nice song I didn’t know what to expect when you said names of your van but I was pleasantly surprise very very interesting cord and vocal melodies keep it up man
@@jasonbodden8816 essentially all it does is take your mono signal you’d typically have on a vocal signal and spreads some of the frequencies across a stereo image.
It absolutely is man. Don't waste your money on cheap gear unless it's something you can upgrade later down the line. It'll only set you back otherwise.
I think it works really nice for my voice. The e935 is great, but it can sometimes be really curry sounding, whereas the V7 is a little more rounded in the mid-range, which is something I lose a bit of with the e935. All the vocals on my solo album were recorded with that V7.
Hi Tanner , you have an amazing voice ! I have the TC play acoustic and there are so many different types of reverb and delay to choose from and it really confuses me . Do you know which ones you used for this ? Sounds great !
Yo! It's been years since I made this, so I'll have to look at my settings to know. But typically I use room or hall with about 4ms of decay and leave the mix around 15-20% I think. Delay is usually 1/8note and around 10-15% on the mix. Hope that helps!
@@TannerSingsSongs thanks so much ! I just can't seem to get the vocals dialed in without it sounding too muddy and it really seems to flatten when I sing higher .. thanks again for the info! Gnna give it a try
@@Mj-bg2uj no prob! If you're finding your sound is muddy, there should be some low cuts in the reverb and other time based effects you can dial out. I usually cut the low frequency up to about 110hz or something. I'd give that a try and see if it helps, especially if you're singing on an SM58 or something. Mic selection is a huge part of your sound so keep that in mind. Give a Sennheiser e935 a shot.
@@TannerSingsSongs thanks again for the reply ! I have the e835 and I’m wondering if it’s worth the upgrade ..getting the gain right is proving a bit difficult with the tc play acoustic.. if I raise the gain till the light turns green it’s wayyyyyyyy too powerful .. If I bring the gain on the play acoustic past 25% I start getting plosives and the mic gets way too sensitive and I’m not even close to getting the green light on the unit .. have u experienced anything like that with the voicelive 3?
@@Mj-bg2uj I have, but the VL3 gives me lots of EQ options in the tone area. I used to have a VoiceLive Play, very similar to the acoustic one, and I don't remember if it had EQ stuff. Are you using any compression at all? That might help reduce the plosives a bit. The e835 is nice, but definitely has less noise rejection and a bit bigger bottom end. The e935 has a bit of lows rolled off and a bit more high mid and treb to really cut through a live mix.
Danny Rivers You're probably hearing the noise gate kick in. I have it on a global setting in my board to kick in when it gets to....some level of quiet. I couldn't tell ya till I get my gear back.
I liked clear highs and clarity, but this mic (to my ear) is lacking a body in the sound... Probably not ideal for high female voice who needs more body. Beautiful song though, love it.
Came too check a mic, but got to know an amazing song and artist! I support you nice guy! You will be great pretty soon 👍🏽
The first time I looked at one of his mic reviews, I was f*cking blown away by his voice. Definitely my favorite RUclips mic demo male vocalist!
Awesome song, what a great way to review this mic. Cheers man, your music totally rocks.

Wow...what a incredible rock singer and composer!👿💀🎸🎤😎The microphone is the less important thing in this video!🙆👏👏👏
Came for a demo of the mike but I stayed for the track. Excellent. 👍🇦🇺

Great song and you sound amazing! I upgrated to Sennheiser e935 today and I'm super excited to try it out at rehearsals on the weekend.
I hope you getting paid from Sennheizer. You just sold me a e935 instead of a sm58 Beta :D Thanks
Dawda Green same here.
Awesome song. Wow great voice too!
Thank you for the review and great song.
I just purchased a Sennheiser MD 421 II for my sax. This Sennheiser would round my gear.
Great job in showing off the E935. Great song. I enjoyed the production. You sold this mic as a live vocal mic for me. Thank you.
GREAT tune. Thanks for the great review. Really shows it's range. Cheers man.
Thanks for the demo. Great performance and really did the mic justice. Buying one now!
Love these mics. And the song is pretty good. Nice singing
Damn, great voice
Nice tune, and i just came her for the mic review. Smart move Dude !!!!
Very nice song I didn’t know what to expect when you said names of your van but I was pleasantly surprise very very interesting cord and vocal melodies keep it up man
Great song, your voice is great! Well done my friend!
Nice work sir. Just ordered the same mic and am looking forward to the upgrade from my Shure SM58.
damn man, that song was hella badass.
The sound is clear, the voice is strong and great!
Great stuff, as usual. Genuine question, as I really don't know - what does a widener do? Never heard of that. I'm learning :)

Lovely vocals mate!!! Love that song!
Fucking A, I wish I could write lyrics as good as yours.
Awesome performance and tune!!
Love it!
Sick tune man. Subscribed.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Yeah, nice song! Just got the 935 too.
Can I listen to your recordings with it?
Spider and the Mooooottthhh, subscribed
Great song with a great mic!
Great singing! What is your favorite microphone for live situations? 🎤
Thank you
Great song, bud.
E835? The print says that you are demoing a 935.
mark loy It's the e935. I misspoke and didn't catch it till I uploaded.
solid singing!
What is your drum setup here, hardware wise? Did the kick pedal come with those drum pads?
It's a Roland SPDs-X and I used a piano expression pedal for the kick lol

Great song! did you try the EW500 G-935? just wondering.
I don’t believe I have. I would hope that since the capsule is the same, the sound would be as well though.
Caught in your web, *you spun around my head*
That was the original lyric, but I felt it was too cliche and predictable.
love the voice!!!! I’m on tight budget, either I get 2 cheap $60 mic or just 1 good $

Why do you prefer the V7? Nice song btw.

With a voice like that, any mic would sound good!
How do you find it for plosives?
Martin Smith I tend to angle up a little and it rolls over the top a bit and it's not super noticeable.
Martin Smith For a tune like this I didn't have many issues due to the delivery and singing style.

The mics got a good tone but I heard the vocal track unmute. That good old hisssss when the mic became live. Not sure where I'm going

I made a song that had a similar chord progression, it's a small world :)
Fin Millard The chord progression in this song was inspired by "Its Not Enough" by Dustin Kensrue for me :)

where is this available for download geeeeeeeezzzzeeeeeee

Patrick Howatson Three chords: Eagle claw, chop stick holding hand and tea time.
you got dirty on your hands
And X Not sure what that means but okay 👌
nice voice. all the best
Did you really just call it an 835 and do a review on a 935? Don't smoke weed before you do these reviews! lol
amazing voice.
Wow great songwriting enjoyable
