As a "casual passer-by" I cannot judge that. What I have seen is that a lot has been done and is being done to make the beach between Brighton Marina and the pier more attractive. I don't know whether this will be done by the municipality or by private initiative. None the less, it is a great pity that the Madeira Terrace is in such a deplorable state.

Although the weather sometimes was real bad, I have been very lucky that I was able to set up my tent in dry conditions :)
Brighton Council is terrible, they have let the place rot. It's shameful, yet people still vote for them. It's shameful.
