Praise the name of Jesus!! For months I have been praying to receive tongues, and just couldn’t. I didn’t want any gibberish, so I was determined not to ‘fake it’. The past couple of days God had revealed to me that I had to repent of gossip, slander, negative words and bitter words. I have repented of these things. And for the first time ever, I have prayed in tongues!🙌 It was just utterances mixed with tears and a runny nose, but I’m so happy 😂
THE SINNER'S PRAYER IS A LIE! It is crucial for everyone to clearly understand that there is no such thing as a so-called sinner’s prayer for salvation. Because God does not hear a sinner's prayer for salvation, just take note of the scriptures. John 9:31- Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth. Isaiah 59:1-2- Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Sadly, very few people know that not only will Satan mislead and misguide humanity. But even God himself will also cause you to believe a LIE, and then condemn you for believing it. Because you refuse to believe the truth of the Gospel. Take note of Paul's words; 2nd Thessalonians 2:10-12- And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause, God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a LIE: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Be advised, NO ONE was EVER told to accept Jesus and pray! SO NOW, ARE YOU REALLY READY TO OBEY GOD?
I'm not able to speak in tongues but I am able to speak to homeless and the people who needs Jesus and his salvation, because they feel lost. I know that the holy spirit is giving my the right words and bible verses they need to hear. A lot of my prayers are let me be a light within this dark world. 🙏Amen!
Amen. That's an amazing testimony. Just continue to seek more and more of the Holy Spirit. We can never get enough of Him. He is the one who makes the ultimate difference in our lives and gives us the grace both to will and to do (Phil 2: 13). I was a believer for awhile before I spoke in tongues but from simply examining scripture in Acts and Corinthians, I recognized this was a gift that God wanted me to have and from there the desire grew and I stepped out in faith. It really helps in my personal prayer time by giving me strength and increasing my desire for intimacy. Of course, I still have to pray with understanding, study the Word, and all the other good stuff.

Yes . I received the gift in 2019 while a brother in Jesus was praying over me. It happened all of a sudden and I was in awe and have been praying ever since with more fire and flavor and texture in my prayers. Jesus and I have a personal and intimate connection through this, unique to me and Him. This gift came at a time just before my mother passed and right after I fully surrendered to Jesus leaving a relationship which had been pulling me into sin. There is a reason Jesus bestowed this gift upon me and I am humbled and grateful. ❤️🦋🙏

I attend a pentecostal church, own a ministry thrift store, volunteer with multiple outreaches. And yet I feel I am sometimes in more need of a connection and relationship with the Holy Spirit.
