Whatup Mac?! The drum breaks Harry's playing are the most sampled throughout hip hop history. When you see him reference an artist or song, and an album pops up on the screen, that is an album that sampled the current drum break he's playing(and he put each one of those on the screen before he started playing them). So this entire freestyle is an homage to the creators of the most sampled drum breaks in hip hop. Harry's been drumming since he was a kid, and went to USC on scholarship. He used to play drums for a living before he learned he could pay the bills by freestyling. Also, if you think Em is trash, you haven't really listened to much of his music, have you? Tell me what about Em is trash, and I'll give you a track to refute it. Think his cadence is trash...I got tracks for that. Think his wordplay is trash...I got tracks for that. Think his storytelling is trash...I got tracks for that. I can show you Em chopping better than Tech 9, on Tech's own track; I can show you Em freestyling at a higher level than 99% of rappers(not as good as Harry, but still a high level)...whatever you think Em lacks, I can show you something that will change your mind. Em is the most complete rapper that's ever existed. He can do it all, which is why many people call him the goat. And that doesn't even take into account that he's the best selling rapper of all time. And Juice World was an exceptional artist, but not an elite freestyler. He did an hour or so "freestyle" on some show, which seemed to be mostly written chunks separated by moments of freestyling; and that performance somehow started this narrative that he's the best freestyler in history. If you listen to his one legitimate freestyle though, where his boy is holding up items in the studio, you'll see what I mean. He sounds like an entirely different person when he isn't able to choose the subjects. This inconsistency with his "freestyles" is why I believe they're mostly pieced-together writtens. Nobody can take away from the music he put out though. He was a sensational talent. If you want to see the Juice that really can freestyle, check out MC Juice on RA the Rugged Man Show. It is the best freestyle you'll see without Harry's name on it. MC Juice is the dude who beat Em at Scribble Jam '97. And I know you're probably sick of hearing this, but something isn't plugging you into the algorithm. None of us are seeing your videos, and they should be popping up on all of our home pages. You should have at least 10k more viewers already on just your Harry Mack videos. I wouldn't have known you reacted to this video i suggested had I not searched "Amen, Brother". ✌
