I got one of these and painted it silver and dark purple and made the helmet more knight like. I also gave it the mace from the helmwige. It looks pretty cool now
While going through my boxes I just realized that this kid comes with an extra shoulder joint that connects to the spiky shoulder armor in case you want to have a high Mobility type zaku II with two spiky shoulders but you don't want to have to continuously switch the inside mechanics. I'm going to have to take but look at the instructions soon really tear into this
also you missed a point of articulation. the chest Clicks in just like the zaku 1 and zaku II. it's just not as Loose as it is on those other ones. I remember you said you didn't like them because they would articulate when you didn't want them to well with this they fix that and it's more of a click into place mechanism. there's two extra centerpiece underneath the chest that I don't think the zaku had
I agree. The Waff is just this really simple, nice design, and I think a lot of it comes from the head and the wide space it gives to its mono-eye. Kind of makes the Waff look all innocent and wide-eyed. :p
@@Equalsundew They aren't truly Zakus though..the Zaku I is the first Zaku...they are the forerunners that lead to the zaku.. They are ALL monoeyed suits however..
I've enjoyed the Kit. So much so I got a second one after putting together the first kit. But that's down to the Awesomeness of the Origin Zaku kits. A lot of nice movement from it.
this guy looks really cool holding me anti-ship sniper rifle looking thing. I'm not sure what they were thinking with the brown body though. they probably did it to encourage you to paint it

I completely agree as good as it looks with a little bit of modeling will bring out its true potential i think the armor should be straight flat titanium as a proto just bare metal awesomeness

that's the smallest backpack I've ever seen! besides it's not outside the realm of possibility secret BOS technology. think about it they protect mankind from the burden of Technology in the destruction it brings. how many things are in a volt that they just refused to allow any human to see? what do you think wastelanders would think if they saw flying man? I bet you they would be a little bit more curious about the BOS.

Form the gunpla design, kinda yes. But from the story perspective, waff was earlier than zaku. Waff kinda exist in the "origin" version of gundam series only because if you follow the very old uc gundam lore, the ms-01 till ms-04 are all testing model which not armored or combat-able like this but in "origin" version they only give the code name "ms" to those testing "success" mobile suit.
Love it's design, makes it an easier base to create a 40k space marine of your own, especially with both pauldrons existing

You could always put the arms on a high Mobility type or Dom test type
