  • It's quite interesting, I always find the trucks that I've filmed in the past. It must be some kind of curse that I have. I've filmed 101454 countless of times that I consider the truck almost dead to me and 265380 i've seen a couple of times as well.
Anyways, I decided to repay a visit to a small neighborhood that's buried in a canyon on a cold November afternoon. Both of these trucks showed up just at the same time which made it much easier in shooting the video because I didn't have to wait much for another truck to show up to finish the project.
I was really hoping to see a carry can because I've been wanting to see one for quite some time, but it's ok, I know where to find them. I just have to find the time to go see them.
    Enjoy

Great job I really loved seeing those 60gallon lids being slammed shut

That dog at the beginning. 😂. Great video! I have always loved these Wittke crocodiles. Did you figure out where that Schaffer came from?

I honestly thought he was going to bite me. But the shot with the wind blowing in his face was priceless.
The Schaffer is from Simi Valley. GI Industries was a small sole-proprietor which filed for bankruptcy (due to debt) in the early 90's and was bought out/merged later on with Western Waste. The company still continues to use the GI Industries name to this day. OF course acknowledging that the parent company is Waste Management.
Here's some more details about GI if you're interested.

Haha like how that GI container made it all the way down there.

I agree hahaha, I knew that it had to be from up there before I made the discovery that it had a GI Industries logo on it mainly because WM of all of San Diego never invested in Schaffers. They've been hardcore rehrig since the day they started automated collections. Of course with some miscellaneous toters here and there.

Lowkey thought he was gonna run up to me and bite me after the truck passed.
