      I’ve been doing Uber and Lyft for about 2 years now and I always get compliments on my driving. People have seen my avoidance in situations that would otherwise have gotten us hit by somebody else and complimented on my safety. Others have told me they didn’t even notice we were close to their destination because they never felt us turning, accelerating, or slowing down. A lot depends on the car obviously since you won’t feel much in a proper luxury car but I’m driving a Honda accord hybrid which isn’t what I’d call smooth. I’ve contemplated getting into chauffeuring and getting a luxury car or joining a company that has a fleet.

      A piece of advice someone gave me about this is to pretend you are the car itself and that the people see you as a worthy source of transportation.

    I've been an uber driver for over a year now(part time) but have such a passion for driving people and giving people the best experience possible! I have a 4.9 rating after almost a thousand trips and I've been thinking of getting into luxury transport for a while now (uber premier, chauffeur driving) because i couldn't think of a more fitting world for me to work with the passion i have! But i was just reading something about appearance online about tattoos. I have visible tatttoos on my hands which i already planned on covering up with driving gloves (also i think driving gloves look cool) But my concern comes from having two very small tattoos on my face do you think that would really hinder my chances in making a move into the chauffeur world?
    thanks for making such great content I think I've watched most your videos now I binge watched them haha

      I understand your concern .
      While some passengers may have preferences, your skills and professionalism as a chauffeur should be the primary focus. It's important to present yourself confidently and provide excellent service, which will likely outweigh any initial perceptions based on appearance. Good luck

      There are always a way to get around such things such as if its small enough where you can put some foundation/makeup powder on it to hide the tattoos it should not have an issue. Hope the best to you and wish to have you as an uber or a limo driver one day

    I want to be either a Chauffeur or a Tour Bus Driver. I have my driver's licence and experience on the road, but I have no professional experience. It's been difficult trying to get a foot in the industry.

      If I were you and serious about the Chauffeur trade would join a reputable local limo company first than gain some experience for the first year of so. In that period you will meet all sorts of people and make great friendships .And only that would give you a great foundation to eventually start your own limo business as a solo operator,which many companies are hiring limo contractors and is not difficult at all to find one

    Are you supposed to help with the bags even if the bags are not heavy? I once helped with a medium sized bag it felt so light and the whole situation felt so cringe (im a regulat taxi driver for now but im thinking about becoming chauffeur)

    • @mychauffeurlife
      @mychauffeurlife  Год назад +1

      Assisting with luggage is essential in the chauffeur trade. However, even as a taxi driver, I see no reason why I wouldn't help with the bags. It bothers me when passengers, especially vulnerable ones, have to struggle with their bags while the taxi driver remains seated. It's just not my style.

      Dark glasses here in Australia are essential for eye protection and safety while driving, which is a top priority in my profession. Thanks for the tip, I’ll consider it!
