I’m so blessed to belong to a church that still has its altar kneeler which many faithful now use to receive holy communion, on the tongue by our priest. We have seen a big increase of the laity going to communion in this way with some women now wearing veils! We have a large parish in the heart of the most secular and godless state in the USA but our priests are now say two masses every day, one sung in Latin! Again early Sunday a.m. which so many young families attend with their children property dressed for the occasion. We also have 24 hr adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which I think has contributed to the growth in piety and reverence. Our priests have begun to sing the mass and they use incense at some of the masses...it’s really wonderful...
@PATRICE HADSELL Gee, that's great but you don't say where you are and where all this great stuff within our Catholic church is taking place! NYC is right across The Hudson River and I see the Statue of Liberty every day. Can I imagine that your state is worse than mine?? Uh, no. So where does this take place? Your church is using the alter rail for Holy Communion, again? That is awesome! You comment your church has 24 hour adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Does that mean the doors of your church are open 24 hours? We have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament also, but one has to be with the Blessed Sacrament at all times - the Blessed Sacrament is never left alone. Thank you for your comment, how uplifting your comment is!
Hi to you. Clearly much has changed in the USA and world since you commented. I'm hesitant to put anything in digital these days but I just want to confirm your comment on the growth of parishes when they embrace both Perpetual Adoration - my parish began it 18 years ago and have a small chapel outside the otherwise locked up sanctuary. Another local parish began E.F. Masses once a month a few years back and now have both low and high and n.o. Masses each Sunday - yes, somewhat defiant - and that parish has seen a 40%growth since July of 2020. Adorers at the one parish tend to assist the Mass at the other parish! Wild times, wonders to behold, saint-making madness!
Most of my life I was taught to receive in the hand. Always thought, what would it matter esp. since It was the disposition of the heart that counted! Now I understand clearly why the Church is in crisis and people have lost belief even more so today in the real presence of Jesus truly present Body, Blood, Soul & Divinity. Oh my Jesus I believe, help my unbelief. With God's help I will now humbly start to receive Holy Communion in my mouth. +
Awesome! That’s a great start. But Check this out: “One of the incredible draws of the Catholic Church, as an evangelical, was the high reverence which infused so many of its practices. Not least of all is the idea of bowing down, kneeling, and receiving communion on the tongue.”
Father Elias, Thank you so much for this explanation about the proper way of how to receive the Holy Communion. I grew up taking the Holy Communion in tongue. Then I saw people in church taking them (the Holy Eucharist) by their hands. And so, I start doing the same. Taking it by my hand. And sometimes I do get confused, 'coz I didn't know which hand is the right hand to hold the Holy Eucharist. I'm glad and grateful for your video. Now, I can go back to the old way. The right way. Receiving the Holy Communion in tongue. Thank you so very much. God bless you Father. And may God bless all of our Priests. !!!..
Eve, you should seek out the Latin Mass for the full experience! Altar rails to receive on your knees, frequent availability of confession and more. Fssp.org will give more info. God bless!
I know we got sidetracked somewhat about communion in the hand. But it's such a very important point. It's abuse not have it on tongue. And to have laity distribute it is another violation.
I agree with all of the comments. Taking the Holy Eucharist in the hand I think is an insult to god. The priest has concentrated hands and only a priest should give us Our Lord. Why does the older generation take it in their hands? After all they weren’t allowed to when they were young. God always loves those that shows our traditional way of receiving him on the tongue. Amen
Our Lord took His last supper using His hands to break and pass the bread. He used His hands to raise the chalice to His lips and to pass it along to His disciples. There is no harm done, in fact a great privilege, for us to touch the Holy Eucharist in reverence as we bring it to our lips, where it becomes the spiritual body of Christ and the corporeal form within us.
Ave Maria! Our Lord was among His Apostles and were ordained priests at the Last Supper. They were not lay men handling the Blessed Sacrament. Priests hands are consecrated at ordination in order to handle the sacred mysteries. The Blessed Sacrament is not the Spiritual Body of Christ it is the Body Blood Soul and Divinity of Chrst, meaning God physically present. Not a symbol spiritual or otherwise. Ave Maria!
Ave Maria! Fr Elias for this talk. I been persecuted for receiving Jesus kneeling and on the tongue. But i just can't receive Jesus on my hand since I started receiving Jesus kneeling and on tongue. I'd like to share this and please pray with me for this priest. When he distributes Holy Communion, he carries a golden bowl with a small golden bowl.inside. The Sacres Hosts are arranged around and the small bowl is where the Precious Blood is put. He carry this with this 2 hands and he let each people pick up the Sacred hosts from that bowl and dip it on to the Precious Blood one by one. As i lined to communion, i didn't see what was going on until its my turn. As usual, i kneel down and opened my mouth, there was a short silence and pause since the priest was waiting for me to pick it up while Im waiting for him to give it to me. Until he reluctantly give it to me. Then the following monday since he comes every monday, the same thing happened but this time, he is very reluctant and told me something that I didnt hear or perhaps my ears are shut off. He still gave me. But right before he gave the final blessing. He announced sternly that the reason why he let people take it by themselves because he said its heavy for him to carry. And he said sorry to the person concern but thats the way it is. All knew that he was referring to me. I felt heavy and whenever its monday i just say spiritual communion so as not to make him feel bad or make myself take attention. And then later I just decide not to attend Mass when he is celebrating. Then after few months, he was the priest again and I felt to receive Communion. I asked the nun there if she can give communion to me since I don't want to receive Jesus in the hand, the nun reprimanded me telling why should i do that. Its more important to receivre Jesus and its already approved receiving in hand. So in short time, i went in line, and out of not making attention, i hesitantly pick Jesus in my hand...I felt so sad I cried I dont want to follow those who this anymore. I just can't. Please pray for me and for this priest. Im always faced with this dilemna whenever a priest refuse to give Jesus on tongue and kneeling. In my heart i felt resolve to take Jesus spiritually saying spirtual communion instead than receiving Jesus irreverently again. Im not sure if im correct. Thank you Fr Elias. God bless all priests. Viva Cristo Rey!
Do not receive from nuns, (they are a confused lot) receive on the tongue kneeling. Find a Catholic priest and stay far away from that priest. They sound like clericalism with bells on. Pompous puffed up clergy we can do without in these terrible times.
@@growlerthunder5171 It does not make sense to the un-catechised. The priest's hands are concecrated and therefore the only ones permitted to touch Our Blessed Lord's body and blood with their hands.
thank you. I go to NO mass. in my conversion through RCIA, I was trained to take communion in the hand. my mobility deteriorated where I needed a cane. I now receive Jesus in my mouth. I keep his body whole in my mouth and receive the blood allowing the body to soak the blood in my mouth. I give reverence in my heart by bowing before I take. and I do not swallow until I get back to the pew and kneel. I kneel until the father is done with communion. during communion, we are fortunate that our priest gives out the body of Christ to all of us in the church. I will always take communion in the mouth even if my disability went away by God’s mercy.
I have known about Akita for a while. But, I have never known what the significance of the cross on the hands that presented. I’m now attending Latin mass.
James 5:13-15 13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms. 14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Amen, may the good Lord heal Numbers 6:24-26 24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: 25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: 26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. May our good Lord heal in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen
I have read a few articles or seen a few videos regarding Our Lady of Akita but none so informative as this one. Thank you Father Elias. In 1973 I received a special grace but I was not practicing my Catholic faith - in fact I was questioning it and trying to come to terms. Like Sister Agnes I was confused, thought it may be a cerebral misfunction. Your talk has helped me put that experience in perspective.
I would put large bowls of clear water beside each communion line station. I would then have each person receiving in the hand must wash their hands before moving back to their pews. Within weeks you would have 100% receiving on the tongue.
I have felt sad due to the total lack if reverence in mass or in church and at Communion. We need renewed chatechesis at mass and at our parishes. I like the way this priest speaks about wedding cake and lovers feeding each other.
The Vatican II, has authorized receiving the Sacrament of the Eucharist with our hands. Personally, I started to receive the Eucharist on the tongue. I was thinking about this one day in regards to how the priest prepare - the wash their hands at the alter before the ask God to change the bread and wine into the Bod and Blood of Jesus. So, other than blessing myself with Holy Water when I enter the Church to celebrate the Holy Mass, I am preparing myself for Mass. It’s only one action. There is prayer, confession, repentance. Either way is acceptable;e. No one is better than another.
Reception in the hand was an indult granted by PPVI due to sacrilegious reception of the Sacrament in the low countries. Cardinal Bernadin deceptively introduced it in the USA. It was only to be allowed if the practice was already established in that country and it would promote more belief in the Blessed Sacrament.
Fr mentions the Sister converted from Shintoism. I've thought the Japanese to be secular all these years. It might be the Japanese are more open to Catholicism than I thought. 🙏. Sr Agnes seems to be a humble visionary. God bless you, Father, for sharing her story.
Thanks Fr Elias. Since a while, last autumn, I started to receive the Holy communion on the thong. Since last autumn, I started to feel bad that most of Christians still do in hands. I felt "charismatic" for a while doing so. And then, I felt that it had to be this way. Before my turn, while one is having it in front of me, I bow. But I receive it standing...Still, it isn't yet "fully right". I should be ashamed of this "not yet completed properly good way". I would need a friendly good counsel about it. Though, I so believe in the Lady Akita and Fatima events. Today, I feel so sad that it seems to be as "a legend" about our Lady apparitions. When I talk to my own family, my own mother, evens though she thought me my Faith, she tells me to "keep low profile" about the subject, in front of some people. But, when "those some people" talk a certain way, my heart is filling of...and I have to talk, regardless of what they would think of me. I pray the rosary and I feel we need so much more prayers. Listening to you confirms me that I have reasons to feel this way about the Holy communion. Even though I'll be in the very few who do receive this way, I will keep up. Thanks to our Lady of Akita. Also, you have to remember that Jacinta, in Garabamdal, she received from the angel on her thong while she was on her kneels. The Holy Eucharistic appeared miraculously as we can see on a picture. Thanks Father Elias! God bless you!
Damian Vigorito -> The Akita says nearly the same message of Fatima; it doesn't contradict. Garabamdal did happen. There were too many phenomena to ignore and, I suggest you to know what happened. I certainly say that a priest died "of joy" beside his brother, revealing what he saw. I can tell you also that Padre Pio was still alive and around to confirm those apparitions, and himself was living mystics marks on his flesh... You see those days, we have soooooo much information that it is on the point of "drowning ourselves in it". Sadly, "as a devil trick", people are getting tired "of false alarm". Though, miracles happen and apparitions did accurate. What is great is that some people has the starting point of all knowledge...."They ask", they question themselves... It's been a while that I "put a wall against too much info." I keep my curiosity alive though but, I filter a lot, believe me. But, the least I can say is that it really happened and many others. About "Mediugory", the church don't want to recognize it. I don't need to be there and see phenomenons. I know that prayers changed my live. But I am curious, I know that "WE HAVE TO GET INFORMED". But I have enough information to realize that we are surrounded of phenomenons. Blind people or skepticism are many also. Be genuine, courageous to yourself and persevere in your search, it's worthwhile. And for your soul, certainly salutary. Take care. God bless!
Marcello1b It took a long time for me to realize the new way of receiving communion is not correct. My hands are not consecrated to touch our Lord. Bowing was not enough respect. I overcame my fears of standing out, with a service dog I already Draw to many eyes on me. I now kneel and receive our Lord on my tongue. I keep my eyes on the floor and try to please God though I know I am angering the Priest's and my fellow Catholics.
I wouldn't touch Medjugorje with a ten foot pole. Way too many contradictions, heretical statements and bad fruits arising out of it. Garabandal I have many grave concerns over it; the way the children walked backwards and bent over backwards; the unfulfilled prophecy of Joey Lomangino receiving his sight back and so much more. Neither one of these have been approved and we have enough past and modern approved Apparitions to focus on.
Linda Maria de la Rosa -> You understood me. I agree with you about receiving it in our hands. That's the way I interprete also. By the message from Mary, lur Lady of of Akita received to St Agnes, she understood it this way also. Slowly but really slowly, I see people receiving it on the thong. I notice that Priests seems to be quite okay with this way...meaning...Mary might be in their hearts also.... Got bless you! Thanks!
39knights -> You don't have to fear "phenomenons". Just see it as it is, that's all. I don't need "extra-phenomenons" to "kind of satisfy" my spirituality. I believe that miracles that relieve pains for others are plainty for my heart. In other words, the fact that miracles happened and that it comes to my hear, while I am asking just for little signs of hope, I consider it as a beautiful answer from Mary that She understand that, once in a while, we need some of "spiritual food relief". I am quite happy to have some, even little answers. Although, I pray for my parent mother for some "stress relief", I understand that we need to persevere in prayers and Faith. Miracles happen not to scare people but to wake up people spiritually. For example, at Fatima, nearly 100 thousand showed up looking for the miracle. There were from every where, from many different denominations; protestants, etc. Though I don't recall if there were Muslims then, I know that they have a respect for Mary. When the miracle of the sun happended, even scientists couldn't deny that the eath fully mudy of the precedent minutes came dried as the miracle came. People got scared and, even if they felt the heat of the sun, nobody got burned eyes... In other words, the phenomenon was exceptional; worth to put more research on the subject... I believe that the phenomenon happened. Mass hallucination?! 100 thousand?! Forget it. And why this happened, should we try to answer instead. My believe is that Mary's message, at that period of time in our history was really important. Then, you rely it to the nearly same message (most agree it is the same) at Our Lady of Akita. If you only consider, as everyone should do, that a "Divine message" shouldn't contradict each other, then you tend to respect the messages. The Catholic Church never had the habit of jumping on a conclusion that fast concerning any apparitions. They really do study it. The subject is really interesting and I cannot tell you how many hours I have been interested about it. But, it is worth. Let say that "I simplify"... I pray and trust that my prayers are answered most of the time. But, for one last dear prayer I ask always is that God keep my eyes opened to "keep me awake".... Don't be scared about what you don't know how to interprete it. Just keep it simply as it is. Pray to know "how to digest" new questions and satisfy your spirituality with "restful" simplicities. Mary arrives in our heart when She sees that we are ready. She will never take or replace Jesus, contrary to some protestants like to say. "Au contraire", being the Mother of Jesus, She wants us to turn to Jesus and embellish our heart toward Him. To people who don't understand my thoughts, I will resume my vision of how prayers pass through Mary to Jesus. First of all, we don't pray at Mary as a goddess (which is a lie and blasphemous). When we pray to Mary, it is as giving our desire of giving to our great saviour Jesus "an apple" (our deep genuine prayers). Mary takes the "apple" and put it in golden (or silver) plat, to present it to Jesus. Being near Jesus and God our Father, it is as at, the wedding of Cana while she saw the the new married couple were about to miss wine. She noticed it and new when and how to tell to Jesus. Showing our love to Jesus is also showing our love to His Mother. I believe that you can love more and more Jesus in Loving (more appreciate) His Mother, the Virgin Mary. If Mary came in her apparitions, it is because She loves us "that much" and that we are really lucky to have such a Mother full of Grace, as the angel Gabriel told to Mary. Take care, God bless!
This has vindicated my belief in the Holy Eucharist being received in the mouth. I almost went backwards but was inspired to stick to the truth. Poor Jesus.😥 How many more of us are committing sacrilege by not being in a state of grace while receiving Him.?
I've heard about these apparitions decade's ago. The apparitions of Kibeho Rwanda were officially approved in 2001. Those should be talked about as well.
Ave Maria! Even with COVID, communion in the hand is not warranted nor desirable. As I have said previously, a sacrilege is not just the condition of the person's soul receiving the sacrament, but also the manner in which it is received may also be sacrilegious. To avoid receiving communion in the hand, even if it might endanger your physical health, which seems unlikely that Our Lord would endanger our health when right before we receive Our Lord we pray, Lord I am not worthy that You should come under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be what? HEALED! But a person who would be more concerned about their physical health that they would risk the possibility of scattering His Sacred Species all over the floor or kingdom come, which would be a sacrilege, I do not think they will have the assurance of Our Lord's promise of protection from the very disease they are trying to avoid. No one has gotten COVID from receiving Communion on the Tongue and if they did, I am betting on the side that Our Lord will treat you with Love and Mercy because you did not want to mistreat His Sacred Species. I hope that this helps? Ave Maria!
Mary! My Mother! Marie! Ma Mere! Maria! Me Madre! Madre Dios Mystical Rose! Flower God chose! His Son's repose! You held Him first in your precious womb You cared and watched over the Bloom And finally beneath the Cross's gloom Oh Mother most fair! You are always there! In you now we place our care! Into your tender Heart Our pledge is to become part To you we pray impart The Master's Loving Art! Amen By John Joseph Hawkins jr.
Wouldn't it be so cool to be chosen to teach?!? I would love a situation where i could read to others like this. For a short time years ago, i took part in our church's radio Mass, broadcasting our 10 am Sunday Mass on the local radio station. Unfortunately i didn't stick with it. Hopefully now i am wanting to take more part in our weekly Mass. Thank you for these presentations!!!
I recently watched the bishop in Akita and two other bishops offering Mass this past September in the newer chapel. Not even once did any of them genuflect during Consecration - only a very meager bow. I must admit I was stunned and heartbroken. Are these the fruits of Akita? I have not yet listened to this presentation, so my next point may be addressed in it: but I also learned recently that the statue of Our Lady in Akita is a replica of Our Lady of All Nations, which has not been approved. That mystic’s writings are filled with much that is very questionable. I had to ask myself then, would the Queen of Heaven use a statue duplicate of very “off” mystical experiences and words? She would have no need to. I always believed in the authenticity of Sr. Sasagawa and Bishop Ito; actually I still do. But now I wonder if they were misled. Have we all been misled here?
Father Elias, are we only to receive communion from the Priest? When you talk about consecrated hands those in the parish that are communion misters, do we consider them to have consecrated hands?
Our Almighty Father chose His Ideal student...Mary...and she Alone kept perfect attendance...even to the Father's final Class...the Crucifixion...thank you Jesus Amen By John Joseph Hawkins jr.
But since Covid, communion in the hand has been more prevalent and on the tongue is discouraged. What should we do when the shepherds are leading the flock to sin?
@@jbcutie Communion in the Hand was an abuse of the Most Holy Sacrament that the Church authorities gave into. Was not an infallible decision and therefore could be and was a mistake in judgement. The Church for centuries in the West stopped the practice because it led to the lessening of proper reverence for the Real Presence which was one of the concerns that Pope Paul VI and the bishops he polled regarding permitting the abuse to be allowed to become an option. Their fears were correct. Communion in the hand for the laity is an abuse according to the message of Our Lady of Akita as it is not giving the Sacrament the proper treatment that Our Lord deserves. It would be a sin to receive Our Lord in the hand, especially if one is aware that there are particles of the Blessed Sacrament on your palm or fingers and you treat it as mere dust and do not consume the sacred species. The problem is that there are particles, even though so tiny on every hand. Thus the reason the priest purifies his fingers and the vessels to make sure that non of the Sacred Species is mistreated. I think the best thing to do for a lay person is to receive on the tongue to eliminate the possibility of there being such a sacrilege in the manner of receiving Our Lord. The priest is the only one whose hands are consecrated to handle the Sacred Host. Only in emergency or in taking Communion to the Shut-ins are the laity permitted to bring the host to them but then they must also be aware of taking care of the Sacred Species with the utmost care and concern, i.e. purifying their fingers and the vessel after they are done with giving out Holy Communion. If you know that Jesus is present you should not receive in the hand. To say that is not a sin to receive in the hand would be an oversimplification, namely ignorance and erroneous if one is not taking care of the particles which as I said earlier should not be even a choice you should be making. If one is ignorant they may be excused but their pastors should be teaching them. Ave Maria!
In 2016 I was in communion line and a voice in my head said do not receive the host in your hand. I thought it was my imagination so I went forth and stuck put my hands and the priest placed it on my hand and the host lifted up off my hand and fell on the floor That was the last time I received the host in my hand . It happened in Virginia
In there Eastern church it is received from a spoon, standing as a free man in Christ - it is a slave that kneels before his master in their understanding - full prostrations are done immediately after the consecration of the gifts and upon entering the church. Taking the eucharist in the hand was the ancient practice, both east and west. Taking it on the tongue or from the spoon was done to protect the eucharist from abuse.
Jesus is my King. I prefer to kneel before my King, thank you very much. And I always receive on the tongue. I once had a shouting match with a priest at Mass because he insisted on putting Communion in my hand.
Oh Thank You Father; It is such a big suffering to My Lord! As Well as To My Lady! I am 7th born of 10 Children to my Most Wonderful Catholic Parents! My God, My God; I Love Thee In The Most Holy Sacrament of The Alter! Oh how I Cannot Stand To Even See This Without Wanting To Reprimand Anyone Who Gives My Lord in The Hand! As well as those who accept it in their hands! How oh how can The Priest even think to do this! It is a Great SACRILEGE against Our Holy God Who Has Offered Himself Unto US! Forgive them Oh Lord; for they know NOT WHAT THEY DO! Once again they hurt your Precious Body, Blood, Soul and DIVINITY! Oh Father, I so need to Speak To a Good Priest who I can relay something of Great Importance, I do believe!
I am a devoted traditional catholic but what about the priets while doing the eucharist he touches with his hands the whole time the host why is that oke and fine but when someoen else takes the host in his/her hands then it is suddenly likely that parts of jesus falls on the ground while with the priests who touch it also with the hands this isnt the case? im not against getting it on my tongue im just curious about this?
The priest's hands are consecrated, the lay person's hands are not. Also there should be a paten or communion plate under the priest hands and the communicant's chin to catch any particles or the host if it should fall.
the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Jesus UNDER THE APPEARANCE of bread and wine. Don't forget that...it's VERY IMPORTANT...that's what makes it a sacrament.
Jesus is present, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Host. Distributing the Precious Blood separately was only done when a couple was being married. Giving to everyone is another modern invention.
I am receiving Our Lord in the hand because it is what our Bishop has indicated during Covid recovery. Should I rather not receive? As long as this is the only way I can receive Him, I will continue.
Ave Maria! I would rather make a spiritual communion then to risk the loss of the sacred species and risk a sacrilegious handling of Our Lord. Communion in the hand is not more safe than receiving on the tongue. Ask you pastor if you can receive on the tongue if you go toward the end of line. Ave Maria! Father Elias
@fathereliasmary7370 Yes, make a spiritual Communion instead. Confess if you have received in the hand and follow only good priest's advice and the True Message of Fatima.
I am amazed at how quiet the Homilies at Mass are about the apparitions and transformation of the Eucharist (South America, Honduras, etc.) It seems that Christ and His Mother try continually to guide and reinforce our Faith thru signs guidance. Christ did the same while here on earth, but the bureaucrats ignored. Our Church is losing members to other Faith's. If the laity knew of happenings from the pulpitaybe they would cling tightly to our Faith - like those who witnessed or heard of Signs and Miracles performed during his Life. HINT
Michael It's complicated, there is an entry in Wikipedia which I have copied below: On 7 May 1956: the Catholic Bishop of Haarlem, Johannes Huibers, issued a finding of "no evidence of the supernatural nature of the apparitions", and prohibited public veneration. This decision was reiterated the following year with approval of the Holy Office on 13 March 1957.[7]On 24 May 1972: the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, (formerly known as the Holy Office) responding to a letter from the Bishop, re-affirmed its decision.[7]On 25 May 1974: upon further review, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith affirmed its earlier decision, and invited the faithful to discontinue all forms of propaganda with regard to these alleged apparitions and revelations. Moreover, the Sacred Congregation encouraged rather the faithful to express their devotion to Mary as Queen of the Universe, as discussed in the 1954 encyclical Ad Caeli Reginam.[7]On 31 May 1996: Bishop of Haarlem, Henry Bomers reserved decision on the apparitions, but found no fault in invoking Mary under the title of "Our Lady of All Nations".[8]31 May 2002: Msgr. Jozef Marianus Punt, Bishop of Haarlem-Amsterdam, approved the apparitions by acknowledging their supernatural origin, and established a commission to document any experiences and testimony.[9][10]September 2008, Msgr. Charles Scicluna, Promoter of Justice for the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, addressed the 22nd Mariological Congress in Lourdes, France on the topic of the Church’s 1978 Norms of discerning presumed apparitions and revelations. In 2010, the address was published in the scholarly journal of the Pontificia Academia Mariana Internationalis. In his essay, Scicluna states once a decision of the CDF is rendered on an alleged private revelation, the decision is of “undisputed hierarchical authority,” and a lower authority cannot overturn it. Msgr. Scicluna questioned whether Bishop Punt had the authority to make a determination regarding the Amsterdam apparitions after the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith had rendered its decision.[11] Analysis
@@fathereliasmary7370 Dear Father, the andere is kind of complecated. Bisschop Punt had approved the apparitions but probably he was to fast. The holy See (Rome) actualy didn't approved it . In the bishopsconference in the Netherlands is still not 100 percent sure of it is all true or not. According to a well known Dutch catholic psychologist who interviewd the visionair about 4 times, he said himself that he doubts of she spoken the truth. So still need to be cleared up. But bureau the current Bishop, Mgr. Punt gave permission.
@@kevingooley6189 That is true. And even pope Benedict XVI also didn't after on it. But why the bishop agreed? The story goes that the mother of the bishop and the mother of the visionair where friends... Don't know if it is true but can be.
@@zuivereharten8916 The whole point is that the Bishop who was the legitimate authority gave it approval in 2000, which was the normal protocol for approving the supernatural character of the apparition. The Holy See has not done anything more because that was all that was required. Ask Bishop Punt yourself. If my understanding of how time works, 2000 comes after 1956. Better fix your watch.
Message 4 of the Amsterdam Apparitions ("WOMAN" of all Nations) will share the significance of the suffering in the hand. It is not solely about receiving the Eucharist in the hands, though that is important.
I noticed the lack of respect of the "faithful" in other levels too, talking in the church disrespecting God's presence and also the people who wants to pray. Other horrible thing is the way some dress, the lack of modesty is a great distraction for the man, looking the young woman exposed parts.
So true. I stopped going to Mass when I left for college in 1970. Only occasionally did I take my mother when I visited her or go with my wife on the holidays. The local Mass in Brazilian suburbs, the poorer areas, is like a social event. Young women dress to attract men, not God. I am 67 and it is very distracting even now. But it is the culture here in these modern times to have no modesty. And surely the ever warm climate doesn't help matters. Neverthrless comfortable and modest clothing is easy to find and should be worn to show reference to Our Lord.
Yes I agree! Reception of the Holy Eucharist in the hand is a sacrilege! Any touching of the Holy Eucharist by unconsecrated hands is an abuse of Our Lord, and a sacrilege! All Catholics need to quietly and reverently receive Our Lord's Body on the tongue from the consecrated hands of only a Priest! Awareness of this fact by Lay Catholics should result in nobody receiving the Holy Eucharist in this sacrilegious manner and then rightfully these abuses will dissappear! We can all easily be a public witness in this way for the Holy Eucharist!
you can recieve it in toungue if you want, the priest can not say no if you want to recieve in toungue, im phil and i recieve Jesus in toungue sometimes , but may be now in toungue
The only thing which can be done is to go throigh the magestarium , have new discussions then vote on the tongue or hand procedure. If the Holy Father says no hand then we will have to abide. Mary's perpetual virginity, the Immaculate Conception, Papal infallibility through to Humana Vitae were discussed and implemented so doesn't reason dictate that if the magestarium and the Pope say it is ok for taking the Blessed Sacrament in our hand, that too is valid? When I was a kid in the late 50'sand 60's, you could only take communion on the tomgue and we obeyed that to. a T. Then things changed. Certainly if the Magestariumrevisits thet and says no Communion in the hand then of course we would follow that rule once again. Afterall, if the church erred on the Communion maybe it is possible to have been mistaken on other teachings.
You can do either according to current teaching. If God possibly prefers it a certain way, then we should abide as best we are allowed. The Church did not necessarily err in any way regarding the Communion in any real sense. It is a matter of practice and consequences that were unforeseen at the time it was decided on. I am not certain as to how binding it is, but given that they suspended it in a certain convent, it can not be wholly binding across the Church to need to allow both. If I am wrong on this, someone please do let me know.
A year has passed since the last time this video was uploaded. This changes drastically bec. Of the pandemic. People will go far to travel to a Church that gives Communion by the tongue. Some would obey the Bishop in their region to receive it by the hand to prevent transmission of this virus. Obedience before sacrifice. If one receive it not in the state of Grace and/or state of mortal sin that would be sacrilegious. What is in your heart suffices. If receiving Him by the hand just be cautious of a particle left in the hand. After consuming it LOOK AT THE HAND AND LOOK FOR PARTICLE(S), IF THERE IS THEN BY ALL MEANS PICK IT UP WITH YOUR TONGUE REVERENTLY AND CONSUME IT. The only concern I have is picking it up with one's fingers despite profuse hand sanitizing before receiving by the hand. Wafers should be bought in a smooth and not grainy condition that will help in not having particles left on the hand. The Altar servers were trained to catch those particles even when receiving Him by tongue but still particles still fall on the floor. Our Blessed Mother as the priest in this video mentioned that she prefers Jesus to be received by the tongue word for word? Where and when did she mentioned that? Can anybody explain it further?
Would it be correct to say that Our Lady is showing us that she suffered everything that Jesus suffered with him. Just like so many stigmatists suffer so does Our Lady.
She suffered, the most of all creatures, but not to the same extent as Our Lord. No creature could bear the suffering He took on. Her's is second only to His however.
@@LostArchivist Yes. Probably different in amount, God gives that which we can bear. I also wonder if her suffering was different in kind. The suffering a mother has for her Child. Kevin
I respect Fr and the talk but it was too preachy and less descriptive about the Marian apparition. But still a great video, please keep it up for the conversion of all souls.
This is just my opinion. But I think the reason that we had covid was because God permitted a very minor chastisement. Also due to all the sacrilegious communions going out there. Nobody talks about mortal sin anymore. Especially the sixth and ninth commandments. Those sins are the most common. They are wildly destructive, but not apparent at the time of the offense. It's like a slow moving cancer. That's from personal experience.
I take communion on the tongue. When Covid was going on l had to take it on the hand with great reverence I picked it up with my tongue and licked my Palm. Jesus l Trust In you Amen
OH, Thank You Father; So Much for this Teaching! That All Catholics Need To Hear about The Precious Body of Christ! In my Heart; I know Our Lord and Our Lady, Do NOT ACCEPT THE PUTTING of JESUS in The HANDS! It IS SO IRREVERENT TO OUR PRECIOUS LORD! And NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!!! I cannot Understand what so EVER, Why anyone would do this, or allow this Outrage! It is Surely a Big Reason for The Huge Decline in BELIEF in The Holy Presence! Not only that, but Every Other Change in The Holy Mass! Taking away the Alter! Sperating The Heavens from The Earth! The Severe Lack of Respect For; THE HOLY PRIESTS of GOD!!! The Proper Words of The Mass and The Tabernacle Being Taken from The Front and CENTER of The Alter! The Priests facing the People, instead of Facing GOD! Let alone the Horrific Men, who Purposefully Entered the Cemenaries, spicifically to cause all of these changes, as well as all of The Purposeful Abuse and Scandal! This has been done to Purposefully out of The Very Same Extreme Horrific Hatred for my Lord as those who Beat and Brutally Crusified Our LORD back then! This hatred has been behind all of these changes! Satan knows he has but a little time! So He has stepped up the destructive action's. By such horrific hatred, as was the same hatred of old! Horrific! And The Saint Michael Prayer, Needs to Be Brought Back to The Mass!!! People of this World, Need to Stand Firm With and For Their Good Priests! And take them in, if need be! Again, Thank You So much Father! This definitely Needs to be brought out into The Light, in this world filled with such horrid darkness! This should Wake So many up; as to The Signs of the Times! Ave Maria!
A good talk by an obviously good priest, and I strongly am opposed to Communion in the hand, but I do have some problems with this Akita thing. 1. Why a statue seeming to come to life and not an apparition? A statue coming to life---isn't that like idolatry? Isn't that the kind of thing Protestants accuse us of? 2. The blood type of the blood on the statue was type B but the type of the tears was AB. That's gotta be two different people. The Shroud of Turin has type AB blood on it---if Mary was type B she would have died carrying a type AB baby. 3. The statue of Akita prophesies gloom and doom---the greater part of humanity being desytoyed in a fire (nuclear war?), but Our Lady of Fatima prophesied that Russia would be converted and there would be a period of peace afterward. 4. This purported miracle has been approved and dissaproved so many times it makes one's head swim. I love Our Blessed Mother and firmly believe in the Lourdes and Fatima apparitions but I've got some real problems with this one.
Interesting thoughts George,. Apparently there is incompatibility between a mother and child's blood type but that is when a mother has O type and the baby A or B www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/parenting/pregnancy/expecting/67181552/ I would not worry about what the Protestants think. God bless.
My understanding is that a mother with type B blood could not carry a baby with type AB. But the bigger question is, why do the tears and sweat have type AB and the blood type B? Doesn't that suggests the bood, sweat, and tears were planted? A statue coming to life and talking---if it does this it crosses the line from statue to idol. The Protestants aren't wrong about everything. Isn't there a contradiction between the fire predictions of Akita and the Russia converted/peace prophecies of Fatima?
I can reply to your first point. Hopefully, it will comfort you to know that St. Francis of Assisi received instructions from the crucifix at San Damiano. So this sort of event is not unique to Akita. Also, a type B woman can carry an AB child. My mom is B and I'm AB. All that means is that my father had type A blood.
The mask does not protect you from COVID. Also even if you receive in the hand the Bishops' directives state that you must remove your mask before receiving in the hand. Have you ever asked yourself why? Because they do not want you to risk dropping Our Lord on the floor while you are fumbling around with the stupid chin sail. We need to put more trust in Jesus and not in the Mask. Ave Maria!
Dude, the health experts early on said receiving communion on the hand was no more safer that receiving communion on the tongue. And that is Father Dude to you. Ave Maria!
It's an excuse. My Bishop himself gives commun on the tongue to the faithful. He then purifies his fingers with alcohol after each communicant approach the rail.
To: L Chief: L C Ringo hello. I am a practicing Catholic. Catholics Honor Mary, we do not worship her. Latira - Worship - We give to God. Delia - Honor -We give our saints. Hype-Delia - Great Honor - We give Our Lady. Mary was a ‘Temple Virgin”, and she prays like the Jewish people. As a Jewish Mother, The Queen Mother took care of the King. If you study the Old Testament., the relationship between the King and the Queen/Mother is unique and respected by all peoples. What the Queen asks of her son, and what the son will do. All women are highly respected and honored in both the Jewish Faith and Catholic Faith. (The history of the Jewish Kingdom’s was)Jesus and the Blessed Mother Mary represent the love and respect which was practiced in their time, and the time before. Jesus can not refuse her, His Mother. We also believe, people do not die. Our physical body dies, but our spirit lives on. During our whole earthly life, we strife, through our suffering, to grow closer to God. We will ask our deceased relatives to pray for us, to intercede for us. Saints in the Light - Saints in Heaven. We believe Our Beloved Mother Mary, and Saints can do more for us than when they were alive on earth. The Blessed Mother Mary intercedes for us . When she asks her son Jesus to help us, He listens. We always add to our prayers, God’’s Will Be Done, not us. Our God gives us free will. We can decide either to go towards Him or away. Did you know, that in Our Lord’s Prayer, we say “Our Father...”. In actuality, We are praying to our Daddy, Jesus taught the prayer in Hebrew. ABBA means Daddy. I hope this helps you a little bit. Please take time to sit quietly, and just meditate on Our Blessed Mother’s name: Mary. Every time, you start to think of something else.. you know the Monkey Mind term, say Mary, and you will bring your focus back to prayer. Sitting silently with God. He will guide you, he will heal you, and he will love you. Our God is a Loving and Merciful God. Imagine “You are held in an Ocean of Love by our all knowing creator.” The Catholic Faith is the Truth and the Way to the Father. Remember, Jesus says, “Who ever comes to me, will know my Father. I can only pray for you to understand. I can pray to God, and the blessed Mother Mary to ask the there will be Christ minded people who will enter into your life, and guide you towards Jesus,. Only God can give you Faith. If Jesus was walking the earth today, he would bring so many of our brothers and sisters to Him. Remember, ever one you know, you meet, you see, is a ‘Child of God’. We all have a spec of God’s Light in us. And when you receive God’s Grace, you will live differently from the rest of the world. What’s going to today, has been going on Forever. God has given us “Free Will”. It’s up to you, to want to know Him. And its up to Him, to give you the “Gift of Faith. And maybe you have the Gift of Faith from your own culture, your own traditions. I just know from my own experience, there is more - God Blesses me with abundance of love, mercy, and peace, and joy. It’s up to me to stay close to Him through, prayer, scripture, sacraments, and silence. When I think I can run through life without Him, I fall. I am truly grateful for my Faith as a Catholic. I prayer for protection daily that no man or man’s ways will ever detach me from My God. The Father - The Son - The Holy Spirit. God Bless You, My Friend. This is the best I can do right now in my life.
At the Last Supper, did Jesus walk around the others and put the bread on their tongues ? I have not read or heard of this - so who is abusing Whom ? 'Do this in memory of Me'. It's not the hands or the mouth need conversion/metanonia - it's the heart. From stone to flesh. Was the 'woman caught in adultery' - about to be stoned to death by a bunch of hypocrites, some of whom may have committed adultery with her in their finery, asked by Jesus/Yeshua - to confess to Him ? It came out of monastic tradition. 'Confession' should be about healing. I do believe and have devotion to Our Lady and always have since childhood. What I find difficult to understand is why you people instill so much fear in others or try to when it clearly says 'Perfect Love casts OUT fear' ? Jesus was sent to save/heal the world - not condemn it. 'You don't get to Heaven walking backwards out of hell.' A priest who died at 45 years of age told me this. I was caring for him in hospital at the time. Fear is a tool of the diabolos - the one who lies, divides to conquer - not of the God who IS LOVE. True Life. Yes LOVE is very challenging. But it does not leave you fearful. I do not believe that God punishes us. We reap what we sow. Love - or the fruits of fear. When Jesus is 'lifted up' He tells us He will raise all to Himself. Yet we are told here that most of the earth are hellbound. The people were scared away - by ill educated clerics. Christ was scapegoated by the 'clerics' of the time and I bet would be so today. Maybe if the wound was on the right hand of Mary and left hand of Sr - it was because she could not have born the pain of both. Christ's wounds - nothing to do with the Eucharist ? It gets sooooo confusing. Fear will not bring people back. LOVE draws and heals. Fear divides and destroys.
Seremis is not standing in front of the Cross, Mary the Mother of God is standing in front of the cross. You had better reread your old testament and look up the description of the Ark of the Covenant and the Mercy seat. Also the snake on the pole that healed the Israelites when they were bitten by the seraph serpents. Those weren't graven images and neither is Our Lady standing anywhere near the cross., Ave Maria!
The warning The clergy are now going to lead the church in the wrong direction. Any priest or laity who follows this direction can have no part in Christ's kingdom. Although not stated in the warnings, the implication is that the decisions from the Amazon Synod will lead the church to reduced emphasis on the Blessed Mother and the Eucharist!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
"Our Lady stands at the foot of every altar..." Nay, Our Lady in her seven sorrows is sacrificed, as it were, with Her Son. And even more, since at Lourdes Our Lady told St Bernadette that "I am the Immaculate Conception" she places herself in eternity, the same eternity where the True and Infinite Mass is offered. Every Mass, of course, is the extension of the Sacrifice of Calvary to all times and all places, one and the same sacrifice, albeit in an unbloody manner, as Trent teaches. And in every Mass, Our Lady conceives anew, as it were, her Son, in unutterable travail for the sins of men. All the saints taught that for ever pain of Our Lord Jesus, a corresponding travail in Our Lady of Sorrows is manifest. Herein we see her Co-Redemption. And also her wonderful title as Mediatrix of All Graces. If St Paul can say that we crucify anew Our Lord when we sin, then cannot the same be applied to Our Lady? The bad news is that Communion in the Hand is a despicable sacrilege, and shame on Pope Paul for allowing it without penalty, and shame on all the popes since then for not inaugurating swift reform. I'm sure they will do many hard years in the fires of purgatory for their woeful negligences. The Good News is that, since the vast majority of priests in the Novus Ordo are invalidly ordained, those poor people are not receiving their Lord into their hands and so are not guilty, at least objectively speaking, of the Body and Blood of Christ. I never knew the statue of Akita was modeled after Our Lady of All Nations, the very problematic "revelations" to Ida Peadermann. "Ecclesiastic Approval" notwithstanding, can somebody explain the phrase: "Who once was the Virgin Mary"? Then who or what, pray tell, was speaking to Ida? Little green men from outer space? It vexes me when Fatima is conflated with apparitions that are problematic (to say the least). The very fact that at Fatima the greatest miracle since Moses parted the Red Sea was made manifest, should make Fatima the touchstone of all eschatological prophetic analysis, devoid of confusion or comparison with other "manifestations" of the Divine.
White Wolf, Roman Catholicism exists in a world of religious confusion!! I can't imagine the Saviour engaging in all this pseudo-religious rigmarole you Catholics entangle and enslave yourselves in; what the great Apostle Paul called "a yoke of bondage "!! Seriously, what is all your rites, rituals, and ceremonies about? You're not better than non-Catholic Christians and you're CERTAINLY not making anything better!! Over 70% of American Roman Catholics no longer believe in the so-called Eucharist, the supposed "sum and summit of Roman Catholic life! What's up with that? SHEESH!!! 😐😐😐
1 Timothy 2:5 "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus". Mary as an intercessor/mediator is not in the Word of God which is our source to test the spirits against. You are believing in an evil spirit posing as Mary If you will do a bible study on the Queen of Heaven you will see that she was around in the old testament and was a wicked idol and an abomination to God. She is not the Queen of Heaven or the Queen of peace. She will bring war.
1973 Sr Agnes, concert, around 20 years old. Beautiful soul. Please, pray for me. Sick most of my life. 🙏🏼
No Sister Agnes was probably closer to 40 years old as she is in her late eighties almost 90,
Bless you - you still give your name as Happy. I pray you find comfort and peace from your ill health 🙏
@PATRICE HADSELL
Gee, that's great but you don't say where you are and where all this great stuff within our Catholic church is taking place!
Where is your church at?

Wild times, wonders to behold, saint-making madness!
what a blessi ng
Why are we hearing this for the first time?!! Bishops please wake up!! Lord have Mercy!
This is the greatest talk on the Holy Eucharist I’ve ever heard. Thanks to Jesus and Mary
Yes very good talk.
I am glad this was done.
Communion in the hand is wrong!
Our Lady of Akita,

Awesome! That’s a great start.
But Check this out:
“One of the incredible draws of the Catholic Church, as an evangelical, was the high reverence which infused so many of its practices. Not least of all is the idea of bowing down, kneeling, and receiving communion on the tongue.”
2011
“It is the sign of adoration that needs to be recovered. I think the entire Church needs to receive Communion while kneeling.”
This is a great talk. Learned so much.
God bless!
when i was a young child, i remember the communion rail that people kneel in front of..

God bless you Fr Elias. Our Lady of Akita pray for us
Thank you.
Ave Maria!
@@fathereliasmary7370 Amen!
You don't like to receive it in the hand but you let the priest touch it with his hand. Doesn't make sense!!
Thank you Father God Bless You 🙏🏻
Thank you for doing this...I learned soo much.

Thank you for this talk
Thanks father
I have read a few articles or seen a few videos regarding Our Lady of Akita but none so informative as this one. Thank you Father Elias. In 1973 I received a special grace but I was not practicing my Catholic faith - in fact I was questioning it and trying to come to terms. Like Sister Agnes I was confused, thought it may be a cerebral misfunction. Your talk has helped me put that experience in perspective.
Thank you
God bless u father
I would put large bowls of clear water beside each communion line station. I would then have each person receiving in the hand must wash their hands before moving back to their pews. Within weeks you would have 100% receiving on the tongue.
39knights please don't offend Jesus receive him on your tongue from now on Amen
Interesting idea....
I have felt sad due to the total lack if reverence in mass or in church and at Communion. We need renewed chatechesis at mass and at our parishes. I like the way this priest speaks about wedding cake and lovers feeding each other.
Maybe I will start receiving on the tongue. We need this teaching.
@@jessieguadarrama2768
She is actually encouraging receiving on the tongue.
Amen! Indeed we have to receive Communion on the tongue... Lord have mercy! Amen
Why do we HAVE to receive Communion on the tongue, Marina? I await your reply...😐😐😐
Amen and thank u
Thank you father.. I was enlightened
what interesting. Ave María.
This has vindicated my belief in the Holy Eucharist being received in the mouth. I almost went backwards but was inspired to stick to the truth. Poor Jesus.😥 How many more of us are committing sacrilege by not being in a state of grace while receiving Him.?
Wish there was TLM near me. But both parishes near me do communion in hand or standing while on tongue. No kneelers.
I've heard about these apparitions decade's ago. The apparitions of Kibeho Rwanda were officially approved in 2001. Those should be talked about as well.
Father, What do you think about giving the communion in the hand now due to COVID 19?.... Don't you think it is displeasing to our LORD?
Ave Maria!

Just found your Channel. Great lecture. You have a new sub sir👍
Father Elias, are we only to receive communion from the Priest? When you talk about consecrated hands those in the parish that are communion misters, do we consider them to have consecrated hands?
I believe this is incorrect. A Deacons hands are not consecrated.
I had heard Sr. Agnes had an interior locution telling her not to receive in the hand.

But since Covid, communion in the hand has been more prevalent and on the tongue is discouraged. What should we do when the shepherds are leading the flock to sin?
Receiving in the hand is not a sin. It is arguably not as reverent, but .... - Friar Roderic
@@franciscanfriars thank you for clarifying.
I thought it was my imagination so I went forth and stuck put my hands and the priest placed it on my hand and the host lifted up off my hand and fell on the floor
That was the last time I received the host in my hand .
Your personal opinion is noted. Catholics kneel before Our Lord.
Is there any way that the rain of fire can be avoided? Or is it predestined?

I am a devoted traditional catholic but what about the priets while doing the eucharist he touches with his hands the whole time the host why is that oke and fine but when someoen else takes the host in his/her hands then it is suddenly likely that parts of jesus falls on the ground while with the priests who touch it also with the hands this isnt the case? im not against getting it on my tongue im just curious about this?
The priest's hands are consecrated, the lay person's hands are not. Also there should be a paten or communion plate under the priest hands and the communicant's chin to catch any particles or the host if it should fall.
Because the priest hands are consecrated. Yours are not. They have the right
the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Jesus UNDER THE APPEARANCE of bread and wine. Don't forget that...it's VERY IMPORTANT...that's what makes it a sacrament.
DO NOT FORGET THE EUCHARIST IS THE BODY, BLOOD, SOUL AND DIVINITY OF THE JESUS CHRIST. DO NOT FORGET SOUL AND DIVINITY! ALL FOUR ARE IMPORTANT.
the last time I received communion in the hand it lifted off my hand fell in the floor
that was the last time 2015
Jesus is present, Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Host. Distributing the Precious Blood separately was only done when a couple was being married. Giving to everyone is another modern invention.
Why did he not ask Sr Lucia to pray for us?
Father,
Can all the church bringing this up not to receive in hand? Maybe staring from the Pop so that people will be aware of it?
www.vatican.va/news_services/liturgy/details/ns_lit_doc_20091117_comunione_en.html
They sort of have...but people do not listen.
HINT
Is the Amsterdam apparition approved by the Holy See?
Michael
It's complicated, there is an entry in Wikipedia which I have copied below:
On 7 May 1956: the Catholic Bishop of Haarlem, Johannes Huibers, issued a finding of "no evidence of the supernatural nature of the apparitions", and prohibited public veneration. Msgr. Scicluna questioned whether Bishop Punt had the authority to make a determination regarding the Amsterdam apparitions after the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith had rendered its decision.[11]
Analysis
Yes it was approved by Bishop Punt in 2000 when he was the ordinary.
Mainly locutions with manifestations on the statue.
Message 4 of the Amsterdam Apparitions ("WOMAN" of all Nations) will share the significance of the suffering in the hand. It is not solely about receiving the Eucharist in the hands, though that is important.
I have since moved to Italy
I noticed the lack of respect of the "faithful" in other levels too, talking in the church disrespecting God's presence and also the people who wants to pray. Other horrible thing is the way some dress, the lack of modesty is a great distraction for the man, looking the young woman exposed parts.
Filomena Seiffert so true priest should speak out but they are afraid to offend the people we the body of Christ should speak out its our duty
✝️ O MY JESUS FORGIVE US OUR SINS
It's distracting (in a different way!) for women who have to look at half naked women in church, too! It's so tacky and disrespectful.
What about the lay person who hands out communion and wine ?
Here in the Phil, we cannot receive the Holy Communion in our tounge. We receive Holy Communion in our hands.
you can recieve it in toungue if you want, the priest can not say no if you want to recieve in toungue, im phil and i recieve Jesus in toungue sometimes , but may be now in toungue

Yes.
Probably different in amount, God gives that which we can bear.
I also wonder if her suffering was different in kind. The suffering a mother has for her Child.

when you are fed “like a baby”, then we are fulfilling scripture to become like children you will not enter into heaven. Matthew 18:3

Apparently there is incompatibility between a mother and child's blood type but that is when a mother has O type and the baby A or B www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/parenting/pregnancy/expecting/67181552/
I would not worry about what the Protestants think.
Unfortunately during Covid- receiving should be in the hand like the mask we need to protect each other obviously remove mask during Communion 🙏
Ave Maria!

Convert from Buddhism
Why is Sereramis standing in front of the cross? The bible clearly says not to make any image of anything in heaven nor on earth!
SHEESH!!! 😐😐😐
Please talk more of Akita. You are digressing, spoiling the Akita message.
I said what was important.

But the title was, the Lady of Akita. We know a lot about Of Our Mother and Her glorious messages throughout history.
Ave Maria! Did you listen to part II?
No to communion in the hand. No to EMHCs.
Satan hates Holy Man and so does his ambassadors.
