These dropped my last wk of HS. Only one store in Charlotte got em which was Harold Pener. Everybody had the unc 17s that last wk of school, I came with them lightening 17s and people lost their minds. GOOD TIMES!!!!

You do know these didn't release OG in a suitcase...only the 17 high...these were in a face box...I'm getting these but I need the UNC and Chicago Home colorway...17lows was top tier...300$ is a stretch..but..I need em
I had these in red and white 2003 summer! Cost me 220 back then! It was in a red case with a cd rom ! Damn ! Bring back memories! That’s red ended up being my stash case lol!

With having the black/chrome 17 lows back in the day to hoop in, I truly don’t remember a ton of people liking these like that back then. People saying these bring back so many memories because of the briefcase have to be thinking of the mids because the lows came in cloth bags, which is much more convenient if you hooped in them to have to carry around vs a suitcase. Also, I’m assuming they’ll be fine if only for casual wear, but the aglets used to come off of the og pairs relatively easily when hooping, so I hope they’re fixed for the retros. Looks-wise, they did a good job on these.
This wasn’t the last shoe Mike wore in an all star game. His last all star was 03 and he wore the white and royal 18s.

The highs came in the metal box. which i don't get why they didn't save the metal box for those that would have made those even more special when they released but. instead, they just throwing the metal case in wit the lows so they can charge an extra $100-$75 for the shoe.

I had the all black and chromes low 14s with the black snakeskin coming down by the laces and they didn’t come in a briefcase but they did come in individual black sleeves in the box but these 🔥🔥

Is it true that they wont be releasing online and only in local stores? I still have my 2002 UNC 17's I REALLY NEED THOSE and the UNC colorway. They were $250 when they released the briefcase in 2002 so $300 is not bad at all to me
They were 199.99, 218 with tax for the highs with the briefcase with the jazz cd not lows
300 too much for some lows
They clean not a must cop for me and that 300 is heavy so it’s a pass
I'd of been much happier if they retroed the 16 preferably the white n red lows been wanting another pair since I wore mine to death back in the day. Didn't really care for these back in the day and still don't now. The briefcase is cool but for that price they can keep it especially when u factor in what the resellers r gonna tack on when they buy em all up😥

Shoe is ugly. Even the colorway is trash. I’m not going to front. The briefcase is the best part of this release. The memory of these from high school is the only reason I’m going after these, but I doubt I’ll ever put them on feet.
