Brilliant, an Audi in the Centre Lane Owners Club.
Some things never change.
This is the A40 in London. The first scene appears to be coming from Central London and they appear to exit as if they were going towards Westfield Shopping Centre. The second scene appears to be the same road but in the other direction as if you were coming form Hanger Lane Gyratory
I thought this was the a40. Nothing like it now.
The shape of things to come from 1970. An Audi driver hogging the middle lane
This can’t be 1970! This red Audi 100 was first registered on June 21st 1971…
It's definitely the early 1970s rather than later. The other cars look too old and the traffic is too light compared to similar footage shot later in the decade.
Everything looks cleaner and newer.
J ran from August 1970 to July 1971 so it’s still possible it’s 1970..?
Just like most of the comments, this actually takes place in the Middle of 1971 if not probably Early 1972.
It's at least 1971, the ' new ' red Audi lived around another 14 years , last taxed in 1985 ! .
Things haven't changed much from the 1970s. Audi drivers not using their indicators & hogging the middle lane.
Seat belt use was an option in 1970.
Driving seems like a pleasure back then. Not much traffic and certainly no dangerous speed cameras.
Deaths on the roads are not a contribution to the speed limits but to the number of bad drivers.
Road deaths were about 3 times higher then with fewer vehicles on the road
North Lancaster estate looks brand new in this
Always an Audi😂
Almost like "Time to Spot the Foreign Car". As well as the Audi I saw a Wartburg & a VW Beetle & van. Possibly a Peugeot 404 at 1:25. Also "Spot the FWD Car". Plenty of Minis & BMC 110/1300s, along with an Austin Maxi. The Audi & Wartburg were also front-drive.
Is that basel faulty driving the audi
Took me an hour to get from the Westgate car park in Oxford to the A420 Cumnor bypass yesterday. Probably about three miles. I had time to observe that 95% of vehicles were diesel/petrol. EVs? Dead already.
Take you 10 minutes on a bike, get fit at the same time. It's a no brainer.
@@johnbeaven8951 I live 20 miles from Oxford.
He's a bloody awful driver....He's all over the road !
Typical Audi driver 🤣
@@voodoochild800 I'm an Audi driver and I assure you, my driving skills are far better than that!!🤣😅👍
Is that basel faulty driving the red audi
How times have changed - An Audi driving slow enough to be overtaken!
My God! A foreign car.....
When it was deemed almost a traitorous and disloyal act. People used to frown and shout "What a foreign car?"
An articulated HGV overtaking in the outside lane. Was that legal back then?I'm damn sure hogging the middle lane for miles wasn't!
They did have drones then
L'Audi ne fait que suivre le véhicule du cameraman en train de filmer. C'est une conduite cool, sans changement de file, attendant seulement que le véhicule de devant veulle bien se rabattre ... ou changer de direction.
cars are not dangerous nor is roads it is simply humans
Tosh Lines driving the Audi 😂
