Bro I have been following this channel for almost 2 years. This channel helped me with my journey and I had a terrible experience for the 1st 6 months. My top hair was soooo soft that I had tons of breakage. 1 year later found a hair stylist that specializes with soft textures and now they healthy. I say that in all to say, this channel does more than you think. You are like our loc therapist lol. Stay blessed bro you and the family. 1.5 years in the loc game!! Keep these videos coming bro!!!
I feel you. I interlocked about six months into my journey. Now all my locks have that indentation two inches from the tips. Regret doing it ever since.
I feel Fam! I used to get my interlocked and it’s the worst for one’s hair! Twisting and freeform are the best options. I’m glad to hear that you’re still in the game! 👍🏽 Continue the journey 💯 #Respect✊🏽 Godbless🙏🏽
I had the exact same issue at the exact same spot on my head when i did go to the wrong barber i had like 4 locs extremely close to falling out because of the wrong technique and tightness. - I remember how my hair got pulled while interlocking that day 4 months later i had to walk with a dread cap because i was scared it would fall out when i was outside of my house that's how weak and thin it became. Later that year i found the right barber and he fixed it all for me and i never had any issues again.
It sounds like your loc were interlocked to tight! I have been interlocking my hair for 3 years with no problem. I went to a salon and it was painful. I have now found someone who does it as well as I did. Interlocking gets a bad rap. It is great if done correctly. You said your daughter’s hair is interlocked. I would love for you to do a video on her hair, showing the positive side of locs. Showing it can be done correctly and the results equal beautiful, healthy locs.
Bro interlocked fucked me over as well 😭 im in the process of letting my locs combine after doing 2 strand twist 3 months ago rn... they got so skinny after my last interlock session i had to combine
Funny this was the topic you brought up I had a lady at the job come up to me and told me why is it every time I see your roots are always showing like your retwist don't last long. I told her I retwist my own hair palm role then she began to tell me that she interlock hair and she could do mines. I told her naw I'm good my next rewist will be done next month in March. After that she was saying you must not twist your hair right if the retwist don't last with interlocking it will last a month at this point I was offended but I keep it moving. Just find it crazy how people can try to tell you what to do with your own hair thanks for the video.💯

I used to have random Locs in my car front seat. I lost so many locs
Better when you have a lighter top on see your locs better!! I do my own locs
You should do a video on your “go to” loc styles.
It does look good though the way it is

So what's the correct way to interlock? I'm getting my starter locs next week and I was thinking about interlocking. Now I'm skeptical lol
