Finally classes on inline hockey... Thank you so very very much, please teach all you can about inline hockey skating. I am an urban skater who wants to learn all about hockey skating, because I know hockey techniques are the best to use on the street. Thank you a lot I am learning a lot.
Your skating is excellent. I played Ice Hockey and Roller Hockey. I played defense also. I liked your transition very smooth. I am happy to see you talking about how important skating is. I have seen some hockey video's on youtube that make my blood boil when they are teaching people stick handling when they can't even stand up on a pair of skates. Skate Skate Skate and everything will follow.
I want to learn these skills on flat urban inline skates just so I can become really agile on these skates. Anything worth noting about trying these techniques on flat-profile skates?
Drill # 5 is called "the idiot" in Swedish😅 Very popular among trainers, less so among the players. As you said, it is great for practising your stopping, but also for your take-off and of course you endurance!
How to you get the rink all to yourself, do you book a certain time slot or do you just turn up? Because I really want to start practicing indoors with a proper net but I can’t since I can only practice outside
Rinks will normally have what’s called stick time or Gretzky hour. It like $10-$20 and you will get about 2 hours of rink time to practice and mess around. Normally they will have the time posted on their website but if not you can just call and ask when it is
I came from ice hockey. I see huge difference in grip. I'm ~70kg and installed soft wheels (74A) however I feel how skates are drifting in each turn (not even sharp enough). How can I improve the contact of the wheel with groud? I'm playing on poloshed concrete surface...
What is the best wheel size and density for roller hockey? I wanna play I bought fitness skates… Rollerblade Macroblade 80 with 80mm/82a wheels. Would that be too soft and are the wheels on hockey skates under 80mm usually?
So for wheel size they are normally 80mm and 76mm depending on the chassis set up. 82a is good for outdoor use, but is too hard for sports court. Wont get a lot of grip. Softness really depends on your weight. I recommend googling roller hockey wheel softness chart and that will let you know what softness you should get
@@HockeyAdventures I started playing inline hockey in sports court with 80mm and 88a (my outdoor/skatepark set up) and it was so slippery. It was like playing on a wet surface. Now i like skates just for inline hockey cause playing with 88a is just so hard.
Little weird disclaimer Idk why but In-line skates “mission-Bauer- tour” Are all weird at the ankles…….. like my movements completely break my own ankles… The standard rollerblades work so much better for my ankles and feet on concrete… I experienced this in real time on a legit roller game… Idk why but in-line skates r so uncomfortable… Idk man I really wanna play competitively but after that embarrassing moment a few years ago I’m reluctant… Maybe I just need a better fitting set of skates/warmed up like a baseball glove at a local hockey shop Who knows Either way I have been grinding in my neighborhood. But again, wearing regular rollerblades (which I’m accustom to) on deck hockey floor… I slid all over the place and had 0 traction

I'm glad to help out. There are lots of different hockey topics we will go over on this channel but inline skating will always be part of it
I started hockey lessons yesterday but I also want to practice a bit more by myself, this will definitely help, thanks a lot!
Glad to help but more happy that you are playing. Keep it up!!

Do you have any tips for goalies and skating?
Can you please make a video on defense transitions?
Great video❤

What would be a recommended training program for each drill? (Sets and repetitions)
do you have any tips for how to do a hokey stop or any videos?
Yes I do. Here is the link
