+V. Kurochka NYC is as far from terrible as a city can get. Sorry your experience(s) weren't good. You missed out on many incredible things to see, do, eat, experience, etc. There is nowhere in the world like NYC, in a great way.
What is your camera settings or post editing settings. Somehow I can't get a good sharpness on mine.

I finally got around to wiring in the ethernet cable for my 4k TV and this was the first thing I watched. Looks beautiful and so sharp, even right up close. Gotta get me a Phantom :) Thanks for sharing!

Lucky for you that you filmed it back then. With all of the current rules and scrutiny drones are receiving, you'll get into big trouble if the drone 'police' catch you. No wonder everyone wants to use your footage haha.
Here in Canada the rules are VERY strict as well. Filming anywhere worthwhile is pretty much forbidden or requires a mountain of paperwork and permissions. Then again, any camera drone with a reasonable camera on it would do some serious damage if it fell on a person or be sucked into a jet engine.
Drone makers will have to come out with foul proof safety features in their drones if they want to be able to keep selling high quality drones to the general public because right now, the rules in place don't make it worth it. I'd get one in a heartbeat if I could legally and safely fly it in places like this.

How did u go so far and high with the phantom 3 4K, I have the same drone and I loose signal
Shaymin hey bankman. what is ur height and distance when u lose signal? also, is there interference?
He's using the Phantom 3 Pro with Lightbridge, not the Phantom 3 4K without Lightbridge. This is why he's getting the distance without losing signal.

you do amazing videos ! can this be used for rescue at sea situations? finding a lost diver or someone whose boat capsized?
I just got a Phantom 3 4K and I am really beginning to get excited about it. I originally bought the new Hubsan X4 Pro with the H7000 transceiver and it was freaking nice but and extremely easy to use but it was so glitch I returned it BEFORE I crashed it. Now I am boning up and trying to learn all I need to know before I put my Phantom in the air. Ive flown the NAZA M v2 before but its been a long time.Great vid bro and some mighty brave flying.
The USA is much bigger than NYC and the average American can't afford to buy a DJI phantom for their kids to make vids like this. oh but we offer opportunities for everyone else tho. you can bet your ass on that.
Hmm if I play SimCity or City Skylines there is ALWAYS way more traffic than this video shows. :/

Pretty isn't it? Yeah.. You'll pay $2,000 a month to rent a place where you'll probably be shot(yes even in 2016 this is Brooklyn and other boroughs not Manhattan.. Manhattan is tens of thousands a month). That's if you find a good deal and doesn't include utilities.
