Update from the board of directors:
"An update on the birthday offering: the initial estimate given to us has been revised for the entire day's events, including the food offering for the monastery.
Since we got feedback that some of us who wanted to participate could not do so - as we shut down the fundraiser very quickly, we are reopening it for everyone to take part in this offering.
The revised goal is updated on the fundraiser page, approximating the estimate we now have, which is $10k CAD.
Everyone's support has already been awesome, and while the organisation can fund the additional requirements, we thought it made sense to let this happen from more community participation based on the wishes and feedback we received."
