And not to take away from TC's amazing and incredibly panicked reveal, but Illien just himboing/fumbling his way through his final interaction with Evig was just a perfect summary of his character 😂

i LOVED Alex’s character in the yagold’s campaign, but this one? WOAH. what an incredible performance, everyone was amazing, but Evig just kept me on the edge of my seat😮!
This episode was absolute chaos and my brain hurts from all the new stuff they found 🤯
Yeah, I thought at first it was a freebie/throwaway episode due to Deirdre being gone, with a little sprinkle of some mildly but not important lore to keep it interesting. But nah, it’s some freaking prime rib with side dishes 😮
Alex is such a fantastic guest. I loved his Tossus YaGold and now Evig - such great characters! Amazing job!

and here i thought it was just "give" backwards...
Not sure my players are ready for my Matt Taylor era. After binging every last drop i think i understand some of actual questions posed at any dm… What are the operators at your players level doing? How does a ripple affect water when there is no one around to see it? Most importantly what does the arbitrary distance of two or more stars mean when it has meaning!? Do not forget however, the ever silly question of, do you even like studying about things that don’t exist and then smashing math behind it That tracks with a set math being water boarded over you so your depends have fun?
Evig was a cool PC addition to the cast! Side note: isn't the the DC for Toll the dead a 15? So wouldn't T.C. have passed that save, as ge rolled a 15? I am currently playing a cleric that has that cantrip, and I am pretty sure he would not have taken that 16hp of necrotic damage. Also, another question for Matt: if Morna had not died and Dierdre had been at the table, did you already have this encounter in Red Briar planned with Morna doing those blasts? Or was it changed/created after she passed? Just curious how that would have worked
Its most likely a monster feature they dont have to follow pc rules.
