Frustrating that this form of pre conditioning has not yet been rolled out to the first generation of the enyaq.
Your charging experience seems to be standard throughout the world. I have a PHEV, and I’ll be sticking to it until the charging infrastructure is made as simple as filling the petrol tank.
Try tesla, never had problem charging a tesla. Even easier then filling petrol, just plug it in and it just works.
Got to agree with you. Maybe on a good day I'll be okay with "just going to the other side" but probably not. And my girlfriend would never drive the car again if that happened to her 😂

You would need to be more specific in your question. They don't just break. You may face glitches with the electronics that are hopefully resolved during the warranty period

You can save seat positions via both the driving profile and the physical buttons (you can combine both)
Is it really still necessary to hold the cable during the initial handshake or is it just some habit that people have developed over time because of issues with some cars in the past? I can't believe that this is a problem that cannot be solved by minor changes to the plug or socket. I really think plug & charge is the future but it should be just this - plug & charge and not: plug - hold the cable for half a minute and charge.
I never do it on my id.4 gtx, and it works every time.

There are 2 grey color other is Brilliant Silver slightly lighter than Graphite grey.
@@mr.wizeguy8995 Indeed. Was looking at both, chose the graphite grey as the platinum grey trims stood better to that vs. brilliant silver, imo.

I never enable the one pedal b mode, it is too strong for me. Adaptive recuperation is best.
A nice red colour would help to entice me to look at this model!! Red is my signature colour.
I have had only red cars since 26 years but now i got my Enyaq 80x as Phoenix Orange, that color is amazing too.

Blue has 2 option Energy blue and Race blue.
Since the VRS has boost and it is cold. I am guessing there will be no difference between the 85x and the VRS. The old varint requires almost 20 degrees to have boost available
If you mean boost as an acceleration there will be difference. 85x has 210 kW power and acceleration 6,6 sec to 0 - 100km/h and RS would have 250 kW power and acceleration 5,5sec 0- 100km/h.
@@mr.wizeguy8995 I mean boost as extra power. On the MEB cars you have models with and without boost. Q4 45 does not have boost, but Q4 50 has. But in winter they have the exact same power since boost is only avaiable in hot weather. Same with 80x and VRS.
@@evkx Tesla Björn tested that and difference when max power is available is next to nothing when it isn't. It like 0,2 sec difference in acceleration, there are no boost button or anything similar.

@@mr.wizeguy8995 which test was that. How did he control when he had boost or not. I did borrow a Q4 50 in autumn and during the week I had it I had never 100% power because of temprature.
@@evkx With altering SOC and test was made at summer time.
I have Enyaq 80x and doesn't matter do i get full power or not when at winter time i can't use it anyway because not enough traction, wheels start to spin if i try to floor it.
this is most anticipated car for me in a long time it is pretty nice car.

A solid car but the illuminated grill is ugly and embarrassing
Funny, i see so many driving with aftermarket LED bard installed and those also has daylight function. But it's opinion after all some like some doesn't many people doesn't like whole car.
@@mr.wizeguy8995if they'd kept the single led strip across the grille from the concept it would have looked amazing.
Instead the grille has too much going on.
That looks great. The preconditioning and control of it would be really helpful and a more efficient motor. Almost tempted to upgrade (enyaq 89x 23) but probably not necessary for the actual driving and charging I do which is mostly home

Car maniac did a charge test from 0% and it went up to 176 kw iirc
The curve is way more important. 150 kw up to 80 or more is why more impressive than 176 to let’s say 25% en than dropping like a stone. With 50 kw at 80%
