Ok I understand to come to him thanking him and praising him then coming to repentance and repenting and then after repenting of all sins now should repentance be done on our knees and faces to the ground? Maybe I've been praying wrong ? I need a bible study on praying correctly or another lady to help me when I do pray as part of the bible study

good morning dd family! 💜 Notes: Sinful Praying: 1. Praying with your backs towards God. 2. Praying in public without praying in private. 3. Praying as a substitute for obedience. 4. Praying selfishly (TRUE prayer honors "Thy" not "my"). 5. Praying in unbelief. 6. Praying to yourself (exhalting our self-image). 7. Praying to others. 8. Praying because you have to (much speaking). 9. Pretentious prayer. 10. Praying from an impure heart. Praying in a prayer meeting is.... a common need unified endeavor without ceasing (expect opposition) Humble ourselves and take up the yolk of prayer. Disaster will strike unless we pray. Prayer was made unto God.
These devotions are so helpful to a new child of God! My new birthday 3/17/24❤🙌🏻 God took a depressed, hopeless, addict and filled me with the Holy Ghost!! Oh the joy that floods my soul🙌🏻🙏🏻🔥Was raised my whole life in a VERY small Independent Methodist church..If I could just bottle it up and give it to my family so they could understand!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
❤️ Yesterday, my pastor preached a wonderful message concerning prayer. These messages are so needed! Thank you! “ Lord, help us all to pray…the right way! In Jesus’ Name!”
One can see what it looks like in the Spirit when someone prays without repentance. A brass ceiling above, and an iron ground beneath. The words one prays bounces off the ceiling and falls to the ground. But when one repents a golden portal opens between the one repenting and heaven. Angels rejoice every time!
Just letting you know I watched this one earlier but I wanted to watch this one again but as I click in the same spot as always cuz I saw your devotional picture so I clicked on it then it disappeared so I clicked on at a different spot and wahlah I get to watch it again
That's what scares me if I sinned praying wrong I don't want to do that. Can I ask a question? I was deep into sin backslid ok so God still communicates because he had to wake me up so both my son's could repent and get baptized in the name of Jesus and the HolyGhost before they passed. I got into trouble but God knew u would come back to Him so my giants bad to be In my life for a season. My oldest died and went home 10 months after his baptism and then his brother passed one year later
I was getting at God does communicate even when a person. Is in sin to get right with Him thank you Jesus for sparing my life once again. Brother you and sister Gurley enjoy the General Conference. I won't be able to go and Im 1 hour away got to take care of mom, but I'll watch it online I can't wait I'm excited..
