I wasn't hyped about the 5th Matrix, but now that I see the chance of Merv being the center of it, I am getting kinda hyped
Same. He has always been my favorite, and would love to have him featured more, perhaps even dig into his origin story.
I love that he joked about “Seeing you in a future franchise spinoff” during the scene in Revelations 🤣

Merovingian looks like more like an earlier version of Neo. Persefone looks like Trinity. Maybe that's why she wanted so much a kiss from Neo. Maybe that's why the Merovingian knew about the illusion of choice.
Merv isn't Neo, he's his older brother (so it "the Analyst"). Neo represents "Joseph" who was sold into the Pit of the Matrix by his siblings. Trinity is an emanation of Persephone, and her role is to distract Neo by playing it up like the "damsel in distress". Smith is Neo's nephew. Smith and Trinity are both purposed with diverting Neo from power by making him needlessly sacrifice himself to either "stop Smith" and or "save Trinity". The people of Zion are controlled opposition.
We need more hard hitting lines from Persephone, like "She wasn't kissing your mouth, my love"
Smith, aside (especially his modified version), Merovingian and Persephone seemed to me to be and act more based on emotions than the rest of the programs. Strong deep real emotions.
Oracle's smiles and friendliness could be just a learned business face to appear more relatable. Sati & family, and the angels and demons were also rather reserved..
But Merovingian and Persephone - they showed real passion, rage, jealousy, hurt, envy... the things which make us human. I wonder if it's just in my eyes or you have perceived it that way too or even said anything in past videos?
This channel has better ideas than the script writer of matrix 4 (already proven) and 5 for sure.

Morpheus ignoring the warnings believing blindly nothing can undo what neo did falls in line perfectly with what she said in the first film about him.
Oracle: Morpheus believes in you neo and no one not you not even me could convince him otherwise.
The literal god of the dreams living in denial like he's living in a dream fits well.
As much as I would love a movie focused on agent Smith, a movie focused on the French vagabond would be awesome.
That would be awesome, and the actor looks almost exactly the same as in Reloaded

Merv was the first OS of the Matrix...Oracle is the following improved OS after the paradise and nightmare versions...

The merovingian appearance in Matrix 4.
"When you come to know yourselves, then you will become known, and you will realize that it is you who are the sons of the living father. But if you will not know yourselves, you dwell in poverty and it is you who are that poverty."
In matrix 4 the merovingian, blames Neo, he is in victim mode, he defines himself by his function in the prevouse matrix, he is stuck in his own matrix, therefore he dwells in spiritual poverty he hasn't woken up but rather regressed.
Wanting Merovingian in Matrix 5 is trying to Ressurect the character exactly what matrix 4 warned us about.
I hope for Agent White, Agent Jones and Agent Johnson return in The Matrix 5.
You do a good job of taking another look at Matrix four. However, when they blow an opportunity with this character to expand more into him and what happened they really dropped the ball.
It would be extremely interesting,although to me it is more likely that the Merovingian was an earlier version of Neo rather than the Oracle...However another spin off that I would love to see is the complete story of Seraph.He has always been an extremely intriguing character,as well as the one that fascinated me the most in the original trilogy.I would really like to see who he really was, how he was born,how and why he became the oracle's personal guard and what happened to him after the end of the third film.Maybe he was an earlier version of the chosen one?I don't remember if you've already done this,but it would be very cool if you made a nice video about this character,with all your theories and hypotheses about him. 🙂

Thanks for the Awesome Vids 6 They are Very Informative and Entertaining also I Never Thought of the Merovingian as being the Next Architect that would be an interesting turn of Events.
2 thumbs up for the Tales & the Return of the Merovingian! Ditto for Persephone! Although the returns of Agent Smith, the Oracle & the Architect would be interesting, I'd love to see the return of the dynamic duo of the Merovingian & his wife!
As much as all these theories about matrix5 sound so awesome! You have to think like them…….the movie makers of recent. I guarantee you in Matrix5 Neo is gonna be pushed to the side, and Trinity is going to be the main character. It’s gonna be a disaster. Matrix4 was cutting it really close. Some people think it was bad, others think it was good. I think it was ok……..but that movie paved the way for 5, which will be, Trinity as the new one or something along those lines.

honestly if they are not going to go full on conclusion to the war in 5 then drop the 5 and have it Matrix : Insert title here... and tell a good trilogy or whatever charting the story told in the animatrix about how it all began to the 1st war and beyond
The fifth matrix sadly will probably have a fan fiction feel but then again resurrections sure did as well

Persephone stated that originally, the Merovingian was LIKE Neo. Perhaps... the Merovingian was a previous anamoly.

Hey, could you discuss why everyone was after the key maker? I think the story is deeper once the agents took over the cops and said "the primary target is the exile. Why did the Matrix want him? I think I know why the Merovingian did. Thanks in advance.

I'm divided on this. I absolutely do want to see more of the Merovingian, but I don't know if he could carry a whole movie. For now I think he should be a supporting character. His comic relief in Resurrections was hilarious, but I[d like to see a little more complexity and pathos. Like, Neo and Trinity find him utterly dejected in a pocket simulation like Mobil Ave and he rants some more about how he lost everything, but instead of just cussing up a storm in two languages (I'd be okay with a little bit of that), he gives an exposition dump that transitions into a flashback, kind of like in a detective movie.
Huh...I just thought of a potential title for Matrix 5. "Revelations." I'd like to see Neo, Trinity, the Red Pills and even Smith do some sleuthing to piece together just how things went so sideways after Revolutions, maybe throw in some Noire tropes here and there.
