Alert - in this video I don't wear any safety gear. ATGATT - I am aware. Check out almost every single other video where I'm totally covered and safe. This was a once in a life time opportunity that needed a calculated risk and I took it.

OMG no gear! Yes, you know, you address it. Calculated risk. Fair comment. :)
I was in Phuket last year for a week and I think I had a coffee in that place but was short on time - great to see more of the place.

Thanks for watching! Not my favourite to ride without gear and certainly not a habit I've made.

I love the CUB houses, so cool and modern. It amazes me that mainstream NZ bike dealers dont have cool setups like this

I know right? I guess we don't have the population to sustain it? Not sure. They're a great place though - always happy to visit.

Great video... I didn't know there were any Cub House outside of BKK. I am temped to go get one of those skateboards tho, did I see a Master Roshi version? I was at SMS today talking to the owner about solutions for my MSX fender issue... he might have something in mind fo rme... update soon. haha. I want to get it done in January cuz I want to ride out the Myanmar boarder.

They’ve gone Harley spec with the accessories and extra gear for the new models which I actually really enjoy. That bag I picked up when we met in Bangkok was a great carry on piece for the flight home.
I look forward to seeing the MSX changes! Wish I made it to SMS myself.

@@SmallBikeStuff Next time you come out I will set up an interview for you with the Owner, Jack. he is super cool.
They are building out a new room at the shop for their race bikes as well. They won the 400cc class in Thailand this year and want to put those bikes on display
I am thinking I might swap out for a round headlight on the MSX as well when I make the fendor change. Just to switch up the way the bike looks.

Great video, as usual! The culture surrounding riders' safety equipment in Asian countries always intrigues me... shorts, flip-flops, no helmets, no gloves, and zero F's given! 😂
What are your thoughts about the Dax 125 vs the Super Cub C125 in terms of ride quality and overall feel? I'm considering the Dax (if it ever arrives in the USA), but I wonder if it's not essentially a C125 with smaller wheels (e.g., same engine, 4-speed semi-auto trans, 1-gallon fuel tank, etc). Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Nice bike bro!! This video just pop up in my feed 🎉 and the Cub House is really awesome in Thailand. Got a chance to visit one in BKK (in Ekamai) and that was a nice visit 😁
My 2023 Yellow Monkey just came as well when I got back to Jakarta, and seeing you ride w/o helmet is like the norm here also in Indonesia 🤣
I preordered the Dax as well in blue last year, hoping that one will come soon (maybe a year 🤣)

@@SmallBikeStuff What's the difference between the monkey and grom in NZ? In Australia monkeys can be had for about 7.4k and groms are about 4.9k AUD it seems like monkeys aren't that much more expensive than groms in the US.

Interesting, so is this a special Honda dealership dedicated only for the 'retro' 125's? I love the Thailand videos so far, keep 'em coming!

Thats the one! They started with a single Bangkok Cub House in 2018 and they've moved to most main centres since then. The first ever video on the channel was my visit to the original Cub House in 2018.

Oh man... Seeing that amount of stuff for the Cub and other 125cc I again realise how badly treated the EU/GER is by Honda Motorcycles, compared to THAT kind of dealership experiance.😶😅
We only have the Super Cub 125 (not well sold even...), the DAX 125 (even badlier in sales...) and the Monkey 125 (...) when it comes to the type of 'retro 125cc'.
Prices for all of them are pretty hight too, compared to what ya get in the end (at least 4200,- €). And what we really want we didn't got until know and Honda Motorcycles Europe didn't even come out with some informations on request and so... -.-
We ALL want the CT125 (!!!) here after seeing it launch to whole Asia, AUS, NZ, USA and Canada and everybody is enjoying it like crasy. The CT would be the ultimate Utility 125cc for the
european market and all over peoples are desperately waitin' to a reaction from Honda but... nothing!! 😐😐
Sure, I'd know about an Import company in the Netherlands but the price right to get it road legal (for GER you have to make the omnious TÜV checkup to get it legal on top...) would
come around 8-8500,- Euro, so basically double the regular dealership price it would have when sold here.😑😑 Sucks soo much.
But I didn't give up and keep on hopeing I'll come here, too.🖖
